illegal immigrants get nothing of the state they work illegally in any country if they are caught and that's not often they are sent back to where they come from but we as tax payers have to foot the bill.

Millions of immigrants have come to the UK simply to get our welfare benefits. This is a disgrace and we real British are an international joke as a result.

Yeap they can turn up be picked up by customs put into holding to process their claim (Most are approved) for entry and on approval the whole state system opens up to them unlike the norm that "British" people get.
On approval they then get a house or flat (After a relatively short wait), a grant to furnish said flat, unemployment or disabled living allowance (Going on the sick there maybe nothing wrong with them), a grant for a car however I wonder sometimes how many have valid licences, full NHS support (Health tourism), full council tax deferment and their rent paid!
All that for turning yourself in along with the french tacitly letting them through.
I wish I was an illegal asylum claim!

Show up at the port of Houston or Galveston here and Texas and go to the nearest Welfare office and see how fast you get help.Now here in Texas it helps if your from Mexico or South America but I see lots of other nationalities in our ER that get it too.Oh wait if your from Mexico dont you just walk over and get it ?Bob dont be so naive of course they get it I have to assume your not an illegal and trying to be a smart @ss in trying to defend them with your trying to be funny question.

Yes they can turn up at the ports and ask for, and receive welfare payments. If they live here a couple of months, they can claim more.
