Can illegal immigrants & their supporters give a better reason than coming to the US for a better life?

If you are proud of your heritage, then why do you come here? For a better life, right? right. So what are you proud of then? Your country?, your country is corrupt and poor, really screws you, no opportunity. So you are proud of your heritage, beautiful land, wealth of resources, culture, language, ethnicity? Well that's fine. I'm proud of my heritage too. So what's the problem? The problem is that Mexico is not helping it's people. It's people seek opportunity elsewhere, namely here in the U.S. Well it would be fine if Mexicans came here and assimilated, learned English and planned on sticking around, but that's not happening. No, they come here and get all that they are lacking in their own country. America is great and gives to them, we all give, we don't want to be mean. Afterall, we are the greatest nation in the world. But after a while you can see the effect that massive migration north has on a country. Our country is under attack. What I hear from them is that we aren't accepting enough. We should overlook their illegal occupation and illegal hirings, and give benefits, and education, and health care, and never mind their lack of proper ID, and not too serious crimes, etc. We should give more, we should grant amnesty, and we should all learn Spanish. Yeah, and this was Mexico's land before the evil white man stole it. You know what? What a bunch of garbage. We were nice and now it's come back to bite us.

If you really look at the whole picture, it's insane. I challenge the Mexican people to take all that desperation, anger, sense of entitlement, and just general enthusiasm and channel it into Mexico. Viva la revolution amigo! That is your proud homeland, and we support you 100%! Go with that, change your country for the better, we will help you. Don't complain about us, don't try to change America into Mexico. What good is a bigger Mexico?

Illegal immigration is a temporary fix and a permanent destruction of all that America stands for. Stand up for the working American class and put an end to multi-national corporations that benefit from cheap labor.

I think its hilarious that a country that was founded by immigrants who left their homeland now closes its own gates to other immigrants. The reason many illegal immigrants come to the US is because it is relatively easy to aquire a job in the US thanks to its capitalist government. The reason many "real" americans are angry at these immigrants is because they are willing to do the same job for less money, hey guess what, THATS how capitalism works. Please don't say the US is the only country in the world were you have freedom of speech, it is one of many countries that has that right.

wanting a better life is not good enough reason? well thats to bad but thats why they do it, they love theyr country and culture they sacrifice that to come here and work theyr butt off for theyr families and are very successful

Thats just it, they have no GOOD reason, so they give these, a better life, it was our land first, big business wants us, the world was made by God so we can live anyplace we want, we do jobs Americans will not do, we are humans and its our human right, you took the land from the Indians, and human beings are not illegal.

A reason why immigrants come to the U.S.A. is to help their family members in their native country. Immigrants are the back bone to this country. This country was founded by immigrants (white Eastern Eurepeans to be exact) by being anti-immigrant does not make sense. America depends on immigrants every day. According to the U.S. Census Burea if every immigrant in the U.S. were to quit working for one month the U.S. economy will go down the drain. You white Americans will not have the petty luxuries you have today. Plus this country was never yours; it belonged to Native Americans and Mexicans.

Their reasons are the same as the people who came thru Ellis Island in the past century! they believed in the American dream ,some may be illegal but their motives are just the same, they believed what we promoted the American dream,remember the phase ONLY IN AMERICA! I have yet to see any reason other than the better life BS repeted over and over.What about the right of legal Americans of all colors and races being able to live our own "better life" ? No amnesty under any name for any illegal aliens from any country.

To be here legally they have to have permission from the US government.Its against the law,how difficult is that to understand ? It amazes me what some excuses people use to foster their own illegal agenda.
