I want my boyfriend to be with me on a 6month Australian tourist visa while we apply for a Fiance Visa for the U.S How do we go about this?
He is american born in Los Angeles
and Im Australian..

He can mail the application from anywhere just as long as he has a US residence. It has to be processed in the United States. It will take about a year from start to finish.
Of course, if he's living in Australia with you then how's he going to show he's working and earning enough to support a family in the US? Is a member of his family willing to act as a financial co-sponsor?
He needs to file I-129F, I-134 and G-325A with the USCIS. He needs to include an G-325A from you with his forms. The fee to apply is $455. The income he needs to show on the I-134 is $18,200 per year (last 3 years) for the two of you.
