America doesn't have to be brought back from anywhere - it never left, just got infested. Soon it will rise up and shake off the fleas.

Most Americans can't even tell you the names of their state Senators, have no idea of what Federalism means, do not know the role Thomas Paines writings had on getting colonialists on board with the revolution, believe that a person born in Kenya can become an American president, bekieve that socialism can work with the right person at the helm and that Big business, the ones that create jobs and produce wealth need to be chased further out of our country by further government intrusion and taxation. Do not understand the basic principles of capitalist economic entrepreneurial freedom that fuels our prosperity, creates innovation and wherewithal to enjoy the fruits of our labor and champiopn the advance of life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If Americans can recapture the vision and heart of self-governance that initiated this great experiment at limited government maybe we can bring it back. But the sad truth is the ones you elected don't care about your interests and if you are concerned about the direction we are headed they know we as a people haven't got the gonads or intestinal fortitude to stand up for liberty.

Yes we can. We need a national ballot initiative, and at that point, the potential to punish liars becomes far, far more real that it is at this point.

One item needs to be at the fore front of the initiatives: a really good polygraph asking about the conduct of the office holders each year.

But at that point, the Government of and by the people of the United States, would become just that. We need it bad too.

Yes, we can start by looking at ourselves and seeing what we are NOT willing to compromise.

Stop blaming the government as if it is a monster sitting on a throne. All of us are a part of the government. We are responsible. What are we willing to accept in order to have the "America" we want?
