WOW!!! Finally... Something You And I Agree On Pancha
The Black Community In Our Nation Is Largely Composed Of The Descendents Of People That Were VICIOUSLY STOLEN From Their HOMES And FAMILIES
And Brought To This Country AGAINST Their Will,
And TREATED Like ANIMALS And PROPERTY,
And SUFFERED BEYOND COMPARE To ANY OTHER PEOPLE In Our Nations History
ILLEGAL ALIENS in America are here only because
they are GUILTY of CRIMINAL VIOLATION of our FEDERAL LAWS,
Jumping our borders and living in a shadowy underground economy.
They are Morally Culpable for Shoving Aside those who Adhere to the Law
and Enter These United States in an Orderly and Legal Fashion
There Is NO COMPARISON Here
THERE IS NO INJUSTICE HERE -Except To The AMERICAN TAXPAYERS-
WHERE IS THE INJUSTICE To The ILLEGAL Immigrants???
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS SNEAK Into Our Nation Without Authorization,
And STEAL The RIGHTS Of American Citizens
The RIGHTS That MANY Have DIED FIGHTING To Get For This Country
All The While Enjoying The Liberties That American Citizens
Have Worked HARD For Over 200 Years Through Our History To Get
They Are Trying To Steal AMERICAN HISTORY
And Now They Are Attempting To STEAL THE RIGHTS That Dr. King FOUGHT SO HARD For
And GAVE HIS LIFE To Get For His Community
And Then They Have The AUDACITY To COMPARE This To The CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT???
NOONE EVER Held YOU In Chains-
NOONE EVER Bought Or Sold YOU-
NOONE EVER FORCED YOU To SLAVE In The Cottonfields AGAINST Your Will-
NOONE EVER Chased YOU Around In White Pajamas In The Middle Of The Night-
Or HUNG YOU From A TREE And WHIPPED You Till You Were CRIPPLED Or Dead-
NOONE EVER Blew Up YOUR House Of Worship, Killing YOUR Children-
YOU NEVER Had To Sit At The Back Of The BUS -
YOU NEVER WERE DENIED SERVICE At A LUNCH COUNTER-
Or DENIED The Use Of A RESTROOM-
Or A WATER FOUNTAIN-
Or A SCHOOL-
Or A HOSPITAL-
NOT ONE OF YOU EVER ONCE Had To Experience The INDIGNITY That The Black Community Faced In This Nation
YOU STOLE Your Way Into This Nation
To Get UNLIMITED, FREE HEALTH, EDUCATION, And WELFARE Benefits
Out Of The POCKETS Of Hardworking American CITIZENS
(Black, White, Hispanic, Italian, German, Polish, Asian, MiddleEastern, CITIZENS - Need I Say MORE???)
The Black Community NEVER HAD The BENEFITS That ILLEGAL Immigrants Are Taking (STEALING) For Granted
And THEY WERE CITIZENS, Crushed By OPPRESSION
Till Dr. King Began To Open Our Eyes
The ILLEGAL Immigrants Were NOT Peacefully Protesting,
As Dr.King Would Have Surely Condoned -
They WERE Of A MOB Mentality
And They WERE DEFACING OUR AMERICAN FLAG
And THREATENING AMERICAN CITIZENS
I NEVER Heard Of ONE Instance Where Dr. King
Or ANY Of His People
DEFACED Or DESTROYED An American Flag -
Or THREATENED ANYONE
HIS People Protested PEACEFULLY
Because Dr. King INSISTED On It
And They Were Subject To Even MORE Indignity.
He Was PROUD To Be An American
And HE SET Some Of The STANDARDS
That We TRY To Live By As American Citizens Today
There Is NOT ONE AMONGST You ILLEGAL Aliens
That Can Even Begin To TRY To Compare Yourself
To The Caliber Of The Man That Dr. King Represented As An AMERICAN CITIZEN
I Believe That Dr. King Would Be OUTRAGED At The THOUGHT
Of Comparing THIS Issue With HIS EFFORTS To This Nation During HIS Civil Rights Movement
And Im Concerned That The ENTIRE BLACK COMMUNITY In This Country Isnt Feeling OUTRAGED As Well
I Know I Am, And Im A White Man
YOU WANT RIGHTS???- YOU WANT CIVIL RIGHTS???- Petition YOUR Government-
Go Back To YOUR COUNTRY
And Start Your OWN CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT
Dont Try To STEAL It From The MEMORY Of A GREAT MAN Like Dr. King
Dont Try To STEAL AMERICAN HISTORY
HAVENT You STOLEN ENOUGH From America???
Go Find Your Own Crusader, One That Has His Own Dream, For His Own People
STOP TRYING To INSULT Dr. Kings Dream,
The Dream He Had For HIS PEOPLE,
To OVERCOME The Terrible INJUSTICES That They Faced
During A Very DIFFICULT And UGLY Chapter In Our Nations History Book
Be COURAGEOUS, And STRONG And FIGHT YOUR GOVERNMENT...NOT OURS
WRITE YOUR OWN HISTORY BOOK.....FULLFILL YOUR OWN DREAMS
AMNESTY Would Surely SHATTER The DREAM Of
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. |

I am confused by what you mean, and would be interested in why you say this, so I could better answer your question. What should piss black people off about it? |
|

Incorrectly Political
|
Yes, you are right. The civil rights movement was about ending American citizens being screwed out of their god given and constitutional rights for a century, for no other reason than they are black. The illegal immigrant movement is about people breaking the law to come here, then demanding from our government rights that they are not willing to fight for in their own country. |
|

you are right. The immigration has nothing to do with the civil rights movement. those are two complete and separate issues. I will be offended myself on that issues. |
|

torices1
 |
I agree with you. It's an insult to the civil rights movement. |
|

This is correct==Omg--Pancha--we agree on something--there isn't nothing to compare the two..way to go |
|

Mr. Boof
 |
For once, I think I understand what you're saying (is this the real Pancha?). This has nothing to do with, nor is it like the civil rights movement. I have seen several Blacks angered by the comparison. |
|

Yo!
 |
Yes, I would have to say that that is a correct statement.
The civil rights movement is about racism - and trying to end it.
This illegal immigration issue is about the law - regardless of a person's race. |
|

drizztbabe
|
yes you are right. i don't see any similarities between immigration issues and civil rights movement. |

Please try to understand...YOU DONT HAVE TO BE BLACK TO UNDERSTAND THE INJUSTICES BLACKS WENT THRU IN THIS COUNTRY. It should piss you off if you are a thinking logical person. I am beginning to think you are not. When Illegals use this notion that there is some type of similarity they (illegals and their supporters) are only trying to exploit the suffering of black Americans. this is what illegals do...they exploit America... |
|

bradsgranny
 |
No, it shouldn't be compared to the Civil Rights movement, because the black people were legal citizens and being deprived of rights they should have had without even thinking about it. They were treated horribly for centuries and even as late as the 50's some people didn't even consider them real humans. How's that for insane narrow mindedness? (And if it matters, I'm Caucasian.)
The immigration issue is about illegal immigrants. Whole different ballgame, in my opinion.
By the way, that was an excellent question. |

African Americans did not immigrate to the United States. African Americans were brought to the United States involuntarily as slaves. |

if you were black and mature you would understand their plight. America is the land of the free. the mexican country is in turmoil. This is the land of opportunity. This is suppose to be the land where dreams come true. Just because some of you have it, don't deny it for some one else. Let them be free also. |

For once I agree with you!! Yippeee!!!! |
|

 |
Get over it |
|

eror

Immigration issues should be argued as human rights, not compared to civil rights because they're not citizens. Further more, civil rights movement is rooted by slavery and slaves were never here by their free will. |
|

DAR
|
I think you are right. It really does piss some people off, and I don't see where it buys you anything, anyhow. |
|

tbsp010103
 |
You are absolutely right... immigrants CHOOSE to come here, where Africans were kidnapped and forcibly brought here, and they weren't given the option of becoming citizens until GENERATIONS later. It's completely ridiculous to make that comparison, and anyone who knows anything about the civil rights movement could tell you that. |
|

|
COMPARING IT WITH CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT IS WRONG! |
|

sugarpie
|
it shouldn't be compared to the civil rights movement!
it should not also be compared to gay pride! i love my gay friends. |

not the same but similar , african-american deserve respect.,however this movement had been inspired by the civil right mov. from the 60's although immgrants came here by choice they were force not by gun but economics weapons , neo-liberalism ,nafta(destroyed the mexican agribussines)and pilitical manipultaion
(latin american pseudo-democcracies are a lab for american economic experiments).
what is happenig is that the media it's selling this social movement as civil rigths theoriclly it is civil right movement since the son of illegal immigrants are citizents and many husband and wifes are citizents
and their spouser are not , |
