Can you get deported for a dui?

What if you went to jail for a couple days and you got out on bond with out an immigration detainer? what is the chance of getting deported when you go to court? Does getting a lawyer reduce your chances? All my haters dont waste your time on me.

No you wouldn't be deported for a DUI. If you were deported, it would be for being here illegally. It's possible that they might look up your status through ICE or USCIS, but not all police forces are that proactive. Illegals have been caught after a DUI or any number of other minor offenses. Did you ever see The Visitor? That kind of stuff does happen. However, if you're here legally on some sort of visa or on a green card, you'll have no problem at all.

Well if you are legal I mean if you are a permanent residence then you won't get deported with misdemeanor. The only way how can get you is if you don't have papers. Even with some types of felony it's not necessary to be deported.

Not for the DUI! and it all depends on the Police in your area. If they haven't asked for your status, then most likely, they won't bother now. If you lived in Arizona, asking for your status would have been the first thing they would ask for. They are more worried about catching illegals, then violent criminals.
