Can you get financial aid if you go to college in another country?

For instance, if you live in the U.S, and you want to go to a college in Spain, can you receive financial aid from that college?

Yes. I would recommend finding a school you are interested in attending and then contact them. They should be able to advise you. You can also consider enrolling in an American school that partners with a school in Spain. You would then be able to get aid through the US school while attending the Spanish school.

The foreign university might give a grant if you are exceptional but otherwise no, you cannot get financial aid if you go to a foreign university.

Many American colleges and universities sponsor overseas study programs. I'm sure you could qualify for financial aid and loans.

Yes you can. It's even cheaper on occasion to go to school in Europe. Check out Finland.
