If we have no respect for the rule of law, then we will soon perish as a society.
If the law is wrong, don't disregard it, change it!
Anytime you start enforcing some laws and not others, you start society on a slippery slope to extinction.
Just look at how much NYC was cleaned up by the enforcement of laws, like jaywalking.
When it was treated with a wink & a nod and ignored; it was rampant, people were getting injured, drivers were raging.
And because one law was obviously being disregarded, people thought they could disregard other laws they didn't like.
Once enforcement of ALL laws was reinstated, the overall crime rate dropped. Imagine that, respect for the law.

illegal immigration should not be allowed.

1.) could be a reason is why there are now two languages in our country.
2.) they are taking jobs away from citizens because they want to work for cash under the table and don't have to pay taxes.
3.) they are taking our money with these jobs and are not paying back into our system to support our country for improvements, healthcare, and social security.
4.) if you want to live somewhere with opportunity you need to support that opportunity (see #3 )
5.) I just don't like it. My father's side of the family immigrated in the 1950's, but they learned the language, became citizens, paid taxes, and still made a better life for themselves contributing to the country that made it possible!

Well first of all don't forget that this land was Native American and Spanish and Dutch before it was the US.

1. Cheap labor (wal-mart, casinos, jobs you wont take)
2. Cheap food (agriculture)
3. Cheap services (hotels, restaurants, manufacturing)
4. Great people and culture with a lot to offer.
5. Everyone family in this country derived from Immigrants, except Native Americans and some Mexicans (they settled first).

Reasons to stop.

Reason #1: It makes economic sense. From a strictly economic standpoint, the uninhibited flow of labor across borders is a good thing. There is a large demand for cheap labor in the U.S., and there is a fairly inexhaustible supply of it in Mexico and Latin America. The laws of economics dictate that the two should be united for the greater good of all involved.

Reason #2: It makes America stronger. Americaâ€™s continued military and economic preeminence depends upon the steady flow of immigrants to our country. Without immigration, Americaâ€™s work force would be aging more rapidly and its population leveling off. America would already be following Europe down the long, slow path that leads to geo-political irrelevance. This would not be a good thing, no matter what some people may tell you. The world needs U.S. leadership, however fearsome, however flawed.

Reason #3: Itâ€™s prettier this way. America is like a rainbow. Itâ€™s only cool because itâ€™s got lots of different colors.

Reason #4: Itâ€™s only fair. Some might argue that illegal immigrants are â€œcheating the system,â€ that it is unfair to those who enter legally to sanction illegal immigration. On the contrary, it is unfair that some people are born poor, hungry, and uneducated, while others are born into unimaginable privilege.

Reason #5: It promotes greater cross-cultural understanding. Come on. Who doesnâ€™t love Spanglish? Or gorditas? Where would we be without J Lo, Christina, Shakira or Ricky Martin? Is he still hot? I think Iâ€™m getting out of touch.

Reason # 6: It makes economic sense (part 2). The question of whether illegal immigrants help or hurt the U.S. economy is more complicated than persons on either side of the debate would have you think, but on the whole illegal immigrants are still a boon, not a burden to the U.S. economy. On the one hand, illegal immigrants send much of the money they earn back to their home countries and they generally donâ€™t pay income taxes. We (U.S. citizens) also pay for the social services we provide them. On the other hand, illegal immigrants are underpaid and exploited by their employers because of their status, and U.S. businesses and consumers profit from this through gains in efficiency and lower prices. At the moment, the U.S.-Mexican border is a virtual war-zone, and illegal immigrants take incredible risks by crossing it. â€œCoyotesâ€ charge their helpless human cargo exorbitant amounts for safe passage. Vigilantes patrol their territory with pick-ups and shotguns. Rapes and murders go unreported and unpunished in this legal no-manâ€™s land. Being immigrant-friendly means recognizing that this isnâ€™t a civilized state of affairs.

Reason #8: Itâ€™s the only practical approach to take. Like it or not, millions of people want to come to the United States. Tens of thousands make the journey every year in spite of the formidable obstacles that confront them, and no power, not even that of the U.S. government, can hold back a human tidal wave of that magnitude without expending a prohibitive amount of money and resources in the process. But controlling immigration absolutely isnâ€™t just an impossible goal, itâ€™s one that we shouldnâ€™t be pursuing in the first place. Who are we kidding? Immigrants arenâ€™t exploiting Americaâ€”itâ€™s the other way around.

Instead of resisting the inevitable, we should be thinking about how we can best incorporate this newest batch of Americans into the body politic, so that everyone can benefit from their talents and energies. That means bringing them into the system, not shutting them out of it, and that means instituting some form of amnesty, combined with a sensible policy for the future, which would increase the incentives to immigrate legally, rather than making this close to impossible.

Surely everyone can see the logic in that.

Voting with undocumented immigrants -They work illegally but they get paid like they didn't even work at all that's cruel I think it is illegal to do that and documented people who do that should get arrested. -If they get caught they should at least have a chance to try to be citizens its cruel to deport them from their life in America to a place they might not remembered or never even visited. -What happens if they are good workers and they pay their taxes and many people want them to work in their company it is unfair to be caught finally have a reputation and not struggling to find work anymore. -They only come to America because they need to support their family because why would anybody be in a country like that rude and disrespectful. -they do everything to try to have a good life and then when they do they get caught and deported right away that is just dumb what is the point of this system it makes everbodies life hell.
