- talking about the fingerprint appointment for immigration application.
- we are out of country, and we just received notice that our biometrics appointment is in 10 days. we didn't plan on returning for another month. Can i request a delay? has anyone ever done this?
if u say yes but u need a good reason, is being out of the country a good enough reason?

Yes you can but it also warns you (read the fine print) that if you request for another appointment/date that it will take some time before you are given another appointment. It will also delay the processing of your paper. If I were you, I will come back to have my fingerprints taken. Unless, of course you are not in a hurry to get your papers processed. USCIS could not care less, it is your papers after all and their are millions being processed. How important is your papers to you? |
