Can you see a time when Britains born in Britain are in the minority?

Not really as those children who are born here from foreign parents would be technically British.

However White/British people will decrease as many of these migrants tend to stick amongst their own, they create their own diversity, and while it's financially viable for an immigrant to have several children born in the UK (thanks to our welfare state) it isn't financially viable for a White native Brit to have 1 child let alone several.

So British borns will not be a minority but alas White British borns will.

To be honest most of the immigrants moving to Uk gain UK Citizenship. Surely therefore if they give birth to a child they are born British!

I was born in Australia - I became British when as a teenager my parents moved to UK - I have recently received my Australian Passport - I now possess dual-nationality. My Children were born here in UK. They have British Citizenship automatically by birth.

I am a foreign born mother but my children are British but so am I and I was at the time of their birth.

The figures quoted are being misconstrued in that they don't seperate the parents who are now British Citizens from those figures. Of those 64,000 foreign born mothers (of which I could be one) 60,000 could actually be naturalised British Citizens therefore their children are British born to British parents, as my own children are.

There is always a reason that Government released statistics should be viewed sceptically. These figures incite resentment in certain communities and give the government a reason to review the immigration policies and perhaps place boundaries and exceptions to the amount or type of immigration we accept.

Always look beyond the figures.

When i came in Scotland 4 years ago from France i was very happy to discover local culture...
It was without thinking of the last 3 years where polish migrant have started to arrive in mass, and now, I can only see polish things in the street, rental property signs only written in polish, etc...
I mean was it not suppose to be Edinburgh? It's ok to be "cosmopolitan" and have different culture mixing, but I am affraid now it is only an invasion from eastern europe...
Why? no need to look very far, because people in control "rich, business man, etc..." want cheap labour willing to do extra hours and crappy jobs.
I can not say anymore that I like it here, too many immigration problems...
shame really, it could have been avoided by a simple "limit", or control like at least migrant who speak english...(as a way to communicate with them).

Absolutely. It is not the failure of planning. It is the result of loose immigration laws and allowing kids born in Britian to automatically become citizens. That is a nice inducement to come and have your kids there.

Brits will be a minorty in Gt. Britian. The common man had better get on the vote and his MP before the foreign majority changes all the rules.

I wouldn't worry about it. You need to look at the figures for total births. 78% are born to British born mothers. Also, I think the child is only British if a parent is already a British citizen. And despite what the racists say, most immigrants don't come here to get British citizenship. The majority come here to work for a few years and then return home.

But I repeat what others say. If you don't like Christianity and fairness, MOVE TO AUSTRALIA!!

As said before, that time is now. Soon there'll be no British people left in Britain, just the offspring of all the people who have moved here.

Immigration is a fact of history, I mean what defines a British person? A Celt? A Jute? A Saxon? A Viking? A Norman? An Angle? A Roman? Lets go back further.. A Neanderthal? You and I are decended from the first humans that walked out of the Rift Valley in Africa thousands of years ago and nations are arbitrary lines drawn on maps. If someone settles here, has children, then they are British, so the answer to your question is NO!

Maybe we're being selfish but i for one used to be proud to be British but now it feels like a crime due to people like you saying we are racist for not wanting our country turned into a race and religion battle field due to our life enhancing multi-cultural friends.
No country on earth has ever had peace and integration when peoples of different races and religions live so closely together.
It'll all end in tears and bloodshed, you will see eventually, maybe even before it's too late.

Where they are mothers born in England but with mothers born in others countries? probably births by British born mothers will be down to 20.00 or less.

If the child is born in Britain and the parents are legal citizens of Britain then they are, by definition British. If you mean can I foresee a time when people of "pure" British ancestry are in a minority then of course I can, it happened around 1950 years ago when the Romans conquered most of Britannia in 43AD. The Romans brought with them people from all over the Empire - from Africans to Salmatians.
Around 500 years later most of Britain was taken over by Germanic Angles, Jutes and Saxons. 400 years after that the Vikings began colonising the North of England and the East of Scotland.
In 1066 the Normans came and conquered England, killing thousands of the native people. In Northumbria alone William The Conqueror was responsible for an estimated 150,000 deaths.
So really this had already happened. I myself am partly descended from vikings so can't claim to be "pure" British. I think only people from isolated parts of Wales and the Scottish highlands could possibly claim to have no foreign ancestors.
It's not where a person's parents were born that makes them who they are. It's the culture they grew up in. As long as these new children speak English, drive on the correct side of the road and contribute to British society then they are British to me.

Better yet it is called payback for many years of exploitation and colonialism. Let me break it down for you. Your beloved Britain robbed and plundered many countries as an intruder of their mineral wealth, and slave labor, enriched herself, while these exploited countries suffered under many social problems brought on by poverty (including a high birth rate). In more recent days England and other rich nations needed laborers to sweep it streets, wait it's tables, and many more jobs that you will not do. So England went back to these countries and loaded up on unskilled and some skilled laborers.
