Canadian Passport Renewal time.. uh oh?

Heyy, so my passport expires this July, but I'm traveling to Iran and Azerbaijan this summer. Kind of last minute that I'm going. but I need a visa to enter, obviously.

How long is the wait to get a new passport?
I'm a full blown canadian citizen, born and raised

I heard you can get it in as little as 2 weeks if you go to the office yourself with the application filled out. Is this true?

Did you forget you also need your parents or guardian to go with you and many of these countries will not allow anyone under 18 to travel there alone ?
