No you cannot be drafted into the U.S> military if you are not a citizen. YOU can how ever join and we might consider citizen if you did. |

Are you a Permanent Resident (green card holder)?
If yes, you can be drafted if the draft is reinstated (act of Congress required) and you are are a man between the ages of 18-26.
Male permanent residents are required to register for the selective service when:
1. They turn it
2. When they get their permanent residency approved and if they are between the ages of 18-26
Failure to register for the Selecitve Service if applicable can lead to denial of a citizenship application. |

As there is no US draft I would say NO.
Funny story:
I had a friend who got a "draft registration notice" back in the mid 80's it was so funny because This friend was:
1) a green card alien (not eligable)
2) a female (not eligable)
3) 16 years old (not eligable)
Silly Government. |

No, you cannot. But you can sign up for service in the army and the navy and get legal in return(without some of the waiting too). |

One of the requirements in being in the United States Military is that you must be a US Citizen.
So the answer to your question is no... |

If you live in this country, you should be the first to go. |

You can choose to join, which will speed up your chances to become a legal citizen. |

Oh Dee!

Noooooooo, But you will be in the Army if you volunteered, and there were a lot of war that the U.S did involve, who wants to be a U.S citizen anyway? |

You cannot be drafted by the US if you are not a US citizen. You could be drafted by your country of origin however.
Besides, there is no current draft in the US. Who have you been talking to? |

there is no draft and if your not a US citizen then you can't fight I think but I'm not 100% sure but it would just be the most logical answer. |
