Illegal Mexican immigrants are the ones that put the focus on themselves and then painted themselves as victims. The bill that was up to become law to make illegal immigration a felony and hiring illegal immigrants a felony was intended for every illegal immigrant. Then the Mexicans, knowing that they make up so many of the illegals, took to the street in protest because they knew they would be affected. The Mexicans then played the race card. Then the liberals, pro illegal immigrants, big businesses, and illegals turned it into an attack campaign on American citizens painting them as a population of lazy, unmotivated racists. That's how this controversy started. If they wouldn't break the law then they wouldn't have had anything to worry about. |

No I don't. And turn your caps lock off before you type. The minuteman project is a group of concerned citizens who want to preserve the integrity of their borders. It's not a racial issue. There are black minutemen. It is an issue of keeping illegals out of our country. I may not share their views, but i know that the minuteman project is not motivated by racism. |

No, the government isn't doing the job of keeping illegals out, they are taking the law into their own hands which is a part of the 2nd amendment in which regulated militias are integral to the defense of the U.S. |

THey are looking to protect are borders from law breakers. Those people coming over the border can be hispanic, terrorist, rapists, or murderers. That part does not matter though, it is the fact that they are doing it illegally that matters. There are perfectly legal ways to gain residency in the US and to those who follow those ways, they are not hindered.
If it was about racism, then there would be a way to stop those who do it legally too.

Not at all. The minutemen could care less whether the illegal aliens crossing into our country are black, white, red, yellow, or any other color (or nationality). The fact remains that they are assisting the border patrol (again, no racism involved). It just so happens that our friends to the south of us in Mexico have a darker complexion than most of us in the U.S.. When the minutemen begin assisting the border patrol on the Canadian border, I'm sure it will be much easier to see that racism is no issue. |

Yes, it definitely is, and the anti defamation league has it up on their website as being so. They have very strong ties to white militia groups, the KKK (the Klansman were with them on their latest tour). They have released statements to the contrary, but evidence is more factual. The minutemen are racists. |
