Why it has to be mexican? there are hundreds of other nacionalities too. like the california governor, he is an immigrant too...

and what race has to do with the administration of a country. If an alien from mars came, and proved he was better than Obama, i would had voted for the alien form mars. We need people that gets things done. Not people that give wonderful spchees and then just sits in his chair drinking coffe all day while the economy shrinks more. As long as someone can fix the country, i wouldnt care from where he came.

I'm assuming he was born and raised here, but with mexican culture. How about a native american being president? a native american (indian) would not have an "american" culture,but still is capable of achieving the same goals. You are just judging by culture.

economic mess- are you joking? look, i'm not saying illegal immigration is good, but this country is based on immigration (i did not wrote illegal), this is how it works: we get poor people from other countries (frist africans, irish, hispanic etc), pay them a missery, and we get the jobs we want (dr, nurse, pilot ect). I bet you 1,000 that there is NO father in this country that would prefer his son/daughter to be a farmworker instead of an engineer. Only citizens have the resources ($$ and if you are poor you have grants) to study and become profesionals.

Sure, as long as he/she is qualified. Whenever I vote for a candidate, I could care less of their skin, gender, nationality; because it's what's inside that counts, along with being qualified.

Not neccessarily a Mexican American unless if they hold dual citizenship (citizen of more than one country) and are US citizens by birth. Now, with Hispanic Americans, I think one should become President.

The Pope gave it to Spain.. not Mexico. Mexico stole it from Spain, and why in the world would we want anyone who stole anything from the Pope and Spain to run this country? Further, if Mexico can declare freedom from Spain, why can't we declare freedom from Mexico?

Finally.. none have run for the Presidency. If it happens, Americans will see and it won't happen because so one who doesn't know anything at all about history wants to see a Mexican President.

I don't see mexicans in any high tech jobs, Dr, Nurses, good teachers, major contributors... All I see is farm labor, construction workers, welfare roles and lots of kids...
