The short answer is yes.
The longer one is--once the "children" reach the age of 18 1/2, they knowingly are adult ILLEGAL Aliens in the USA with no documentation. Then they will become targets for deportation.
It means they must return to the country where they were born and fill out paperwork and be processed like LEGAL Immigrants and wait to be welcomed into the USA.
You see, ALL children of illegal immigrants discover they are illegally in the USA. This isn't rocket science. The American government will not forgive them for sneaking in, breaking international laws. They know what they are and by staying, they increase their chances of going to jail. |

They are in the country illegally, but they aren't guilty of any crimes. Also, any time spent illegally in the U.S. doesn't count towards accruing Unlwaful Presence. If found, they legally should be deported, but they won't be barred from re-entering legally. However, once they turn 18, they start accruing Unlwaful Presence. Aftr 6 months of unlawful presence, a person wil be barred from the u.s. for 3 years, and after 1 year of UP, will be barred for 10 years. |

Yes, but there are no consequences, other than deportation, until they reach the age of 18. |

No, but they will be deported all the same.
Its the LAW.
What is the problem with people obeying the LAW in this nation? |

their parents have used them in an unlawful act so actually yes they broke the law at the hands of their parents,, can they be held responsible for their actions under the age of 18 - no! When caught the parents should be charged for the crimes they have committed and held responsible for the crimes of their offspring. |

No, they didn't but they end up breaking the law by staying here after they reach legal age. |

If they stay here after 18, that is illegal. |

No of course not.But that still doesn't mean that when they get of age to stay here legally they should do the right thing and become citizens. We should never make our children pay for our sins but once they are of age then if they don't get legalized then yes THEY are the ones breaking the law. |

Yes technically, but they were unaware of the laws! It is sad that the children have to suffer because of their non-caring parents. The parents knew better and did not think of the consequences or the actions.
Real parents do not put their children in harms way on purpose. I can take that to the bank! |

Not any more or less than any child of any criminal has broken the law.
Any price that these children have to pay in all on their parents and not on this country. |

Hell, No, How could the children been responsible for what their parents did...THEY CAN'T BE!
They should not have to go back neither when they are grown; that is just wrong to even say. All they know is America.
This is my husbands problem now. America is all he knows.
Anyway, I am legal and so is he now :P

Are you people serious? If someone told you that you had to go to mexico and wait to recieve paperwork, by the way some illegal children dont speak or write in spanish, would you hide out or would you go? You have to be a complete fool, these kids were brought here at ages they could not possibly remember anything. They should not be sent to a foreign country after going through US school systems. They are just as american as you and I, the only difference is there are close minded selfish money hogging people who don't care about anyone but theirselves. Something needs to be done about this and soon, there are to many americans out there who dont have citizenship. |
