That most humans are not as good at multi-tasking as we have been led to believe. That the US has indeed bigger problems, but that the people here on this category do not. That the world is past the computer screen, but you too are still here. That life will go on, with or without us. That the sun is stationary and the earth will rotate to make another day with or without us. So what does it matter to anyone but ourselves what we spend that time on?

The fact of the matter is that immigration doesn't tie into every problem we have. But the US has the highest illegal immigration numbers in the world. Now, I like being #1 as much as any red-blooded American...... but this is too much! If some of us spend our time tackling this issue, and you spend time on another, and someone else spends time on another..... we may just pull out the keystone to all these problems--- the cause, not the effect. Something is wrong with America, whether it is attitudes, crime, money, whatever... it needs to be addressed proactively. Work within your influences and see change. Work outside of them (like posting complaints about how others spend their time) and all you get is an ulcer.

yup! like homelessness, drugs, teens having babies, high school drop outs. the ECOMONY!! Those are all more important then immigration.
But I'm sure some ignorant person will say "but thats because of the illegals, can't you see that???"

i disagree...illegal immigration is a pretty big problem...not soo much a mexican/american problem as it has become...but definitely a huge problem...with terrorism...

yeah i realized that! but thank god to these people, illegal immigration is the only thing they need to worry about, if they had worse issues i cant imagine how they would react....wat i dont get is that if they worry about immigration so much why dont they get off the computer n protest or sumthin? complainin here wont do nothin about it.

And yet here you are. Sure I guess we have a few problems that might be as bad as illegal immigration, but nobody is going to forget this topic and let all your little friends and relatives stay. Seriously though, what could be much worse than having your country INVADED by millions of belligerent and defiant aliens who hate you and feel entitled to rights they don't have?

Every country has the right to restrict the access of foreigners to their country. While that's being said, you haven't realized that the US has ravaged many other poor countries all over the world with senseless wars. Yet, many people still believe that the US is the best place in the world and they want to be there. You can't blame some poor farmer for wanting to live better than he already is. However, the Americans think they own the world. Too bad because all those people whom they belive to be undesirable are the ones that make their economy work and grow. Figures, huh?
