I am sorry you have the wrong number=== Reason #9 Only American Indians have the right to criticize immigration policy
Our response:
9The idea that only "Native American" have the right to oppose immigration to the United States ignores the concept of "nation." There was no such thing as the political entity known as the the United States until the Founders created it in 1776.
Furthermore, there are not grades of citizenship. One is either a citizen of this country, or one is not. We are not more or less citizens of the United States based on the number of generations preceding us on these shores.
And, particularly, we are not more or less citizens of this country based on our skin color or ethnicity.
Since everyone in the world has ancestors who immigrated from somewhere else, the immigration history of one's ancestors is probably not relevant to the formulation of wise public policy.
and for that matter reason #1 1 Yes, my ancestors came from somewhere other than North America. As did yours, as did everyone else's—including those of the Native AmericansEveryone's ancestors, in fact, came from somewhere other than the place they now call home. In other words, every nation is a "nation of immigrants;" the slogan is meaningless and certainly no basis for public policy.
Because a policy was appropriate in the past does not mean it is necessarily eternally good. That my ancestors were immigrants is irrelevant to the formation of a prudent public policy today.
If my ancestors were pioneers, am I constrained to advocate pioneering and expansionism as the best policy for the nation? What would you think of someone who responded to you when you said you opposed expansionism: "But we're a nation of pioneers?" |

No, my dear. YOU are stupid. Look at the history of Native Americans. Animals are the only indigenous animals here. (You'll have to look up that word, I know) |

I am not an immigrant, you stupid numnuts. I was born here. You take some erroneous cliche and think you have discovered some earthshaking truth. Only problem is, you ignorant twit, you discover nothing.
Your major problem is that you don't even know the meaning of the word, so until you do, it is arrogant and idiotic to act like you do. |

You are totally right I and agree with many. Why if your ancestors or you had the chance to come to this "great" country, why don't you give a chance to others? |

My dad was born in England. I was born and bred in the United States. My dad may have immigrated here from across the way but I've never left this country, therefore I cannot be considered an immigrant. I may be caucasian but I am still a native American.
Thank you. |

Even the Indians...but my anscestors were LEGAL,could spell,and didn't insult everyone. |

 |
But the difference is WE ARE HERE LEGALLY!
I do not think most people would have a problem with immigrants if they were to do so by the proper process. It is the illegal immigrants that are opposed to.
I know when my family came over & I also know that they were not only fluent in their own language but in English as well. They did not expect everyone in American to adapt to the culture from which they came. |
