YES!!!, USA has immigrants in their armed forces fighting dangers to keep you secure. Believe it or not you can join the army with no papers at all. But they make them legal the moment they are enrolling. This is the same for workers, being in the Army its just another job Americans don't want to do and immigrants are doing it.

You are joking, right. First of all, if this is true, which battles have the illegals fought under the name of the United States of America. Please be specific. I'm not buying it.

Oh and by the way, anyone (excluding felons, etc) are ELIGIBLE to become citizens. But it is a matter of whether or not the illegal has enough RESPECT for America to learn her language, pledge allegiance to her ONE flag. Now that is not likely to happen. The criminals will never want to play by the rules.

You are so right. Good Panchita linda, your on the right track, give them arguments to sustain your stand. Also, I've been through immigration research articles and they are very inconsistent on the matter. This site was before your time but the conditions for these workers were inhuman that is why it was ended. The American government then permitted illegal immigration so they wouldn't have any responsibility for these inhuman acts, the leader who protested against what went on in this program was Cesar Chavez I think, I'll have to look that up to be sure.

Wrong, one has to be a legal alien to join the military. You must stay up all night thinking up these silly stuff.

You have to have documents and not false ones. Once you obtain a false document use it and benefited, you have committed a crime. Law 101
Check with the recruiting office in your area.

And???........ What's the question, if these people join the military to become citizens then they are more then welcome... these people are working to become citizens. The true issue is your 11-20 million imigrants that are either too lazy to put forth the effort to become citizens, or just plain out don't wanna become citizens so they still take advantage of all the handouts they are curently getting!

Plus one other thing you may not have know about the military is : that every military solider must have a fluent knowledge of the English language to be eligible to join!.... That said how many illegal aliens can fluently speak english all the time?? Riddle me that moron!!!

I served with a LOT of immigrants, but no illegals. The guys I served with, from England, Armenia, Israel, Puerto Rico, and Mexico, all APPLIED for the priviledge of serving in the armed forces of the U.S. Illegals? Nope. They all had VISAS, a TAX ID NUMBER and BACKGROUND CHECKS. They were/are here legally.
You can't enlist without a high school diploma, yet you expect people to believe that someone can enlist without not only that, but without any form of legal identification or a social security number? C'mon now, wake up. Time to join the real world. You can't enlist without a criminal background check. NEWSFLASH! They flunk that JUST BY BEING HERE undocumented!

Where do you get your facts??? That is ludicrous. Only Card carrying (selective service) American citizens can enlist in the US Military. "Legal" immigrants can apply for a card, or during the Vietnam War for example, with the draft in affect, walk right into an enlisting office, But even then it was not guaranteed.
