Since you have asked this question in the Singapore section of Y!A I assume that you hold a Singapore passport.

You just need to show your passport and file the MFTTV (Migration Form for Tourists, Transmigrants, Visiting Businesspersons, or Visiting Consultants) at the border or on the airplane to go to Mexico as tourist for up to 180 days.

If you should hold another citizenship you will be still good to go since your U.S. Green Card will also grant authorization to enter Mexico in connection with any valid passport.

No you don't. Even if Mexico requires a tourist visa for citizens of your country, permanent US residents are exempt from the visa requirement regardless of their nationality. But make sure you take your residence card with you when you travel.
