So if an illegal alien in CT commits a felony are they deported or arrested?
Murder, rape, vehicular homicide. They're various levels of felonies but are charged differently. Can the state keep a felon who is illegal and charge them and imprison them here or are they merely deported back home? Do we encourage their government to pursue action or is the case over at that point?

Yes they will get deported. Not enough or nearly fast enough for my liking. |

If you have a felony record, you will be deported. |

If there is a victim of a crime involved, I believe they are held and imprisoned here. If not, they are deported. I don't believe they ever enter the Data Base either.
If they have multiple crossing, I believe also they are held for a while, but that costs money, and the Immigration Service doesn't have that kind of detention ability. |

They deport them and they come right back and pick up where they left off .Being deported is only a minor problem and most just get new IDS and live where the police cannot utter the word illegal without being called racist or facing a lawsuit |
