Because she fell...plain and simple. Miss Universe should be graceful and beautiful, and frankly she was neither. Other greater beauties like Miss India and Miss Mexico were passed over this girl who looked like Latoya Jackson.
Some people here and even on the radio saying it's about immigration is just plain dumb. Stop making this a political issue....how silly and immature some people here sound, always thinking everything is about immigration (roll eyes)

No. The reason she was booed by a contingent at the event was because of many Americans' stand on illegal immigrants. They didn't appreciate having Yankees say "Illegals, Go Home."

How embarrasing for Mexicans to do that. Mexicans have no right to boo our American beauty queen or chant Osama Osama during the national anthem. I know understand the perspective of the Americans in their reasons to deport the Mexicans. You are right but not all Mexicans are like that.
