I say let them rally, all they did, as you say, is piss us off. The more they shove themselves in our face, the more American people will get pissed. Let 'em have at it, then we can get this problem solved even sooner.

The sad thing is they do have a chance of staying here. There are laws on the books against illegal aliens (hence the word illegal), but our government seems to carelessly let them cross the boarders and take advantage of Americans. Yes, it is all very stupid, but we have ourselves to blame.

In the long run, aren't Americans illegal aliens, to the Native Indians. Did not the European settlers, come to North America, and "Discover" the country right out from under there noses. Mexicans, who were mingled with native Indians and the Spanish, at one time lived where California is, and much of the southern lands were theirs. Did not the settlers fight for that land , and took it from them.
Would you not now recognize that the land you call your own was stolen at gun-point from others.
Which of you are really illegal, those whose stole the land, or those who wish to live on the land they once owned.

I think they think that they have a chance to stay here, by :
1 They've threatened to poison the food supply if not granted amnesty.
2 In the Southwest they've had stickers in their windows that read "F*** You This Is Still Mexico"
3 They put African Americans down all the time, not realizing that blacsk are legal citizens in this country.
4 Illegals just killed a guy in my city
They don't want to go about it the right way. And won't. They are fleeing their own country and then coming here and waving the flag of the country they just fled.

i think all the protests and whatnots are going to backfire really soon. this issue is reaching a boiling point (i'm in AZ) and i believe that they are shooting themselves in the foot, the supporters will stop supporting them soon.

Well. What is illegal about a person risking thier life to better it, and getting paid next to nothing. Sure we don't OWE Mexicans anything. But its not like Vicente Fox is a freaking saint, or Bush's foriegn policy is doing anything to make life in Mexico better so Mexicans STAY in Mexico.

Mexico at large needs to start moving home and helping their own people, from the news it sounds like the folks back home could sure use some help and some hard workers. They need schools, roads, hospitals, and some voices of reason to help make it all happen.
