Yes they take our jobs. It is a common pro illegal propaganda tool to state they only want the jobs that Americans dont want. Most illegals. Well 98 % of them work in the service industry. These same jobs were held by Americans before the Illegal influx. The jobs have changed to exploit this cheap labor and now rely on it to maintain current profit projections. This is also called undercutting. When you hear Obama speek of wage stagnation it is in direct result of 35 million illegals saying they will do any job for less. When the job market has that sort of demand on labor then there is no need to increase the wages.

Yes/No They do not pay taxes LEGITIMATELY..Meaning the ones that are paying in are doing so under a STOLEN social security number.If they are paying under a TIN then they are not illegal. Most day laborers do not pay taxes and thus rob from the system.. Either way a LAW has been broken.

Yes they send money back to Mexico. Not all illegals are from Mexico however most thats 90% of illegals are from Latin America or Mexico. Anyway, they remit on average of 17.8 billion dollars a year.The issue with that is that this money is now flowing through the streets of Mexico. All or most of the illegals you see either are building a hacienda or have built one. Meanwhile, the money is not promoting sound US economics.

Illegal immigration is a financial sickness and needs to be addressed immediately.

Illegal immigrants do take our jobs but only jobs that we don't want. Who wants to work in a field picking tomatoes? Some do pay taxes but since they are illegal can't file for a tax return which benefits the government. They do send money back to their country. We need to have some compassion for these people. How would we feel if our kids were going without basic needs being met? We would do the same thing that the illegals are doing to support our families.

YES they take our jobs and not only cherry picking jobs either, A lot of the smarter illegals take ESL classes usually at the local high school at night, and learn basic english then they take more high up jobs like working at a hotel front desk or working at a car rental agency, so STOP saying they only take the labor jobs because that just isn't so!

well here goes 15 in a 3 bedroom house all on min wage. rent is 750 by 15 = 50.00 dollars a month a piece. that leaves one person with a good hunk of money for a new ride , rims , bling bling. or what ever.and what is really sad most are making 10,12 ,15 dollars an hour. right now there are not enough jobs for the american citizens . not even low paying labor jobs. yes they have devastated our economy and our work force . enough is enough, sick of it all. old news is a touchy subject. get over it already. same question , different day. dry stale toast,

Okay. Here goes. Illegal Immigrants in my opinion do not really take our jobs. I mean how many people do you see applying for a position that will make you work in the heat/cold,rainy and windy weather 7 days a week? How many dish washers do you see standing in line to work? House keeping come on man. Latinos in general are labor workers. Yes. They do send most of their money back to their family and they live off of it because for every buck they earn here they would have only made about 35 cents in their home town. Sad honestly.
However many states are now bearing down on illegals and have laws or are starting to try and pass a law now to charge people who hire illegals to work.
Many people are happy about this. Personally I think there has to be a better solution to this then deporting.

Yes, they do take jobs but those jobs are ones that most educated people will not want. That is not the big problem with illegal immigration the problem is that they also manage to get government aid, social security, and frequently are criminals whose background has not been checked. On the otherhand legal immigrants most often are required to have a higher level education, prove they are hireable, provide sponsors who promise to support them if they cannot find or loose work, and their criminal history is checked. The legal immigrant also pays fees associated with filing paperwork, lawyers fees, etc. It cost money to come to the USA legally. Those who do come legally who are well educated are able to contribute to our economy by creating businesses which create jobs for Americans and other legal immigrants, very much in contrast with illegal immigrants who may work menial jobs that no one else would want but drain the economy in other ways. Those menial jobs are gladly taken by the temporary workers allowed into the USA, who are not considered illegals but then the problem happens when they don't return at the required time and become illegals.
