Something has happened in America over the last 40 years
that has not only opened us to the Mexican invasion,
but has even invited it.

From the refusal of many American cities to cooperate with the INS,
to President Bushâ€™s celebration of Mexican illegal aliens
as the carriers of family values,
to the Democratic Partyâ€™s insistence
that all Mexican illegals in the U.S.
be given instant amnesty and U.S. citizenship,
it seems that America itself
wants the Mexicans to invade
and gain power in our country....

...by wresting vast territories from Mexico in 1848
we gave the Mexicans the motive for revenge,
and then, 120 years later,
we insanely gave them the opportunity,
by letting Mexicans immigrate en masse into the very lands
that our ancestors had taken from theirs,
and also by adopting a view of ourselves as a guilty nation
deserving of being overrun by cultural aliens.

We gave them the opportunity,
they took it,
and now it is they who are dictating terms to us....

...we must recognize
that the Mexicans are not coming here merely as individuals
seeking economic opportunities,
but as a nation,
expressing their national identity and collective will.

Even more important,
we must revive our own largely forgotten and forbidden sense
that we ourselves are a nation,
we not just a bunch of consumers and bearers of individual rights,
and we have the right to defend our nation as a nation

Unfortunately, those 1200 troops are just pones with no real value except only to appear that mr. obombo wants to do something about protecting the border. It is a switch and bait tactic used by those when they want to fool others. These troops will be unarmed, blindfolded, and told not to harm any illegal invading this country. Mr. obombo's only concern here is to only appear he wants defend the border. If he really wanted to secure the border, he would have armed the MinuteMen, gave them the order to shoot anything that breathes at the border. The MinuteMen are the only truly defense we have against the invaders. Mr. obombo has gagged the Border Patrol to the extent that illegals continue to pour into the country unimpeded. Mr. obombo has no intention of securing the border, allowing AZ SB 1070 to proceed without being contested, nor enforcing the immigration law. He is only trying to fool the American people. He is good at fooling people. Just look at how many millions he fooled 16 months ago.

I wished things were different. I wished we had an immigration czar who would enforce the immigration laws. Instead, we got obombo and holder. How sad.

You're kidding yourself. The US/Mexico border is 1969 miles long. 1200 troops is less than 1 per 1.5 miles. That is the equivalent of bailing out a sinking boat with a colander.

Build a fence if you want to keep people out. Don't fall for the false sincerity of the government.

Not all illegals are bad. I have friends who's parents brought them here illegally. They just want to stay in the country they were taught to call home. They want a better future, because their parents worked their butts off for minimum wage at restaurants to pay for their childrens education. While i do agree that criminals should be sent back, i don't agree in ruining those kid's dreams. Our borders should be sealed, but we can't just sent the good ones who are already her back.

Check out your family tree -- you might be the decendent of an illegal immigrant yourself. Immigration into the US was not really an issue until 1882.
