Do some people just hate Mexicans and not all illegals?

I agree with you. I guess cause alot of people think they are more superior then others. My husband is Mexican, and is a very good man. Is a foreman of a company, speaks good english, and pays his taxes. I'm a white girl with blonde hair and green eyes. People need to open there eyes a little more and have some respect. To all the rude people who say my husband just married me for papers you are WRONG!!! He already has his. Also I'm not a traitor of my own race, I just happend to fall in love with a mexican. Besides that it is nobody's business what I do.

P.S. Nobody ever talks about Russians who come over here and get vouchers for cars and houses.

I don't support amnesty for all illegal aliens, period. Those are my thoughts on the subject. I am also not a racist or a bigot. But if you feel the need to say people who are against illegal aliens are, have at it and call me a hater.

Some people just do it because many Americans -no offense- have the bad habit of sterotyping others, so for them illegal is synonim of Mexican. Others simply have hatred against other nationalities and try to cover it up with nationalism. And even others just don't have a clue of what they are talking about. I am against uncontrolled illegal immigration myself, but support a selective amnesty for those who are already here. Thanks for the question, you made a good point. Blessings.

How about this... I don't see what attracts people to a country WHERE EVERYONE IS AT EACH OTHERS THROATS... a country that has the lowest and poorest quality of education... yes, the USA !! People who immigrate to you guys are obviously DESPERATE !!

Seems to me most Americans are racist actually! (i'm not saying all are)They are always whining about those Mexicans coming over the border... I don't know why they are so obsessed with those people!

Yes, some people do in fact hate Mexicans. Other people want to keep terrorists out of the country, which is why the renewed focus is being spent on the issue of illegal immigration.

I hate all illegals , all of the expired vista holders go home , I really hate the H1-b vista holders because they take jobs away from American workers. Just remember boys and girls keep working the million illegals on welfare are depending on you!

well.......at least 95% of the illegals are mexicans..i dont hate mexicans. my best friend in high school was mexican. BUT his family came here LEGALLY. my current best friend is half mexican .. so i would say if your legal i like ya.

Why is it people automatically say everyone who hates criminals hates Mexicans? I hate anyone who is a criminal. This is a smoke screen when people say oh poor Mexicans everyone hates them. If they assimilated by learning the language and what not people would accept them more. In my job I deal with Mexicans that have been here 10-12 years that cannot speak English. I also deal with a guy from Cuba who has been here two years and is really trying to learn English. Who do you think people are going to accept more?

I work in construction and the fact that everyone stereotypes illegals as "Mexican" is because that is what everyone sees sitting on the corner trying to jump in your truck when you are going to work early in the morning. Don't get me wrong, I commend them for wanting to work and supporting their family for whatever they can get paid. It is just that they need to become LEGAL citizens and work like everyone else. That kinda steered away from your real answer, but it kind of touches base with the stereotype that you are wondering about. You don't hear or see the polish, ecuadorian, or even the chinese out in the public in an "illegal" way like you do the "Mexicans". I work with numerous people from Mexico that are just trying to make a living to help support their family back in Mexico. It is the ones that move their whole family here and put them on welfare and go to hospitals for "FREE" so to speak. If there were just as many other nationalities here as "Mexican" (in the face of the public that is), then I really don't think this type of stereotyping would be going on. I hope this kinda answered your question and I did not go toooooo far away from the answer you were looking for.

I think because they are so close to home, people target them more. The media rarely talks about any other immigrants, legal or illegal. I believe everyone should have a right to start a new life with endless possibilities. I just wish they all would do it the right way.

I swear.......once again.......it's ILLEGAL immigrants. We know there are illegals from all over the world. The hugest number are from Mexico. It was the Mexicans who pulled the race card and just won't get off it. It's been the Mexicans ranting about taking their country back and LaRaza and holding signs in their protests saying "Angelos go back to Eurpoe" and "Kill the gringo" not Polish illegals or Asian illegals or Honduran illegals etc. It's been the Latino that's been DEMANDING their RIGHTS for THEIR people, in THEIR neighborhoods.....not for anyone else. In my newspapers there is no "must speak Chinese" or "must speak Polish" or must speak any other language from any of the other immigrant groups...it's only "must speak Spanish" And I live in a very culturally diverse area. They aren't demanding bi-lingual education for any other ethnic group but their own. No other ethnic group has been so "in your face" and rude and demanding. I'm not woke up in the middle of the night with blaring Greek music but I am from Latino music. I'm not getting harrassed with nasty rude comments from a group of Polish guys but I am from Mexicans. It's not ALL Mexicans but it's in vastly increasing numbers. You get what you give and if it "offends" you then maybe you need to have a community meeting and fill your people in on how to act like a decent human being. You DEMAND respect but don't give it. You DEMAND to be heard but you don't listen. You DEMAND rights, yet you have no respect for others rights as well. (You in general, not directed at you.) Demand protection of the law when it suits you but don't obey them yourself. If there's hostility you better look to your own because that's where it began.

Some individuals are not smart enough to understand there is a difference between illegals and mexicans. Not all mexicans are illegal and not all illegals are mexican...Plus a lot of people are ignorant when it comes to nationalities... they group all latinos under mexicans etc... My reasoning... racism... people that hate mexicans are racists and they cover it up by adding the "illegal" issue because only by asking you know whether they are documented or not. This has to do a lot with education which some people lack.
