Do they allow foreign women who are pregnant to come to the USA?

I know some close friends who's relatives might plan on coming to the US. And one of the women in that group is pregnant. But if she comes to the US she will most likely have her baby here, so that it can have US citizenship. But isn't that not allowed anymore? I heard something like that, but I could be mistaken. Thanks for your answers.

I heard this immigration law will soon be changed. When that is going into effect, I have no idea.

However, to answer your question, some pregnant women still fly to the USA to give birth so the child can have US citizenship. It depends on your airline how far into pregnancy a woman is allowed to fly.

The 8th month is a bit too advanced. Manny Pacquaio's wife flew and stayed in the USA prolly since late October 08 and has given birth to a child there end of December. He flew back home afterhis fight with dela Hoya and left his wife in the USA. He and his 3 older children flew to be with her for Christmas. There is a new US citizen Pacquiao baby.

I met a woman December 07 in Tacoma airport carrying a baby who stayed in Alaska for 6 months to give birth in the USA.

I know she will not be allowed to fly if she is X number of months pregnant. Hopefully she will not be allowed in as she should have her child in her own country at her expense not ours. Risking the life of the child by flying is child abuse to me.

if she looks like she is about to have the baby any minute now, they might deny her...if she is between 1-7 months, they may allow her.

there was some precedence when embassies refused to give visas to pregnant woman just for that reason. but she doesnt have to tell them and if the rest of her paperwork was fine, she will get a visa.
the problem with it, not only the fact that the child is US citizen automatically, but that they are going to emergency rooms to have kids and never pay their bills. of course they dont have any insurance to cover it here. and when they leave the country afterwards all this comes out of out tax money.
