The legal ones follow the law and come here legally, which means with documentation, and they go through the proper process to enter and stay in America legally.

The illegal ones ignore/break the law and sneak in without the going through the proper process, or stay in after their documentation and permissions expire.

an immigrant is an immigrant and im afraid to say that i dont like either type. yes i understand that people need help from wartorn countries etc but not when citizens are losing out. There are plenty of other countries in this world where they are so hush hush about it because they dont deal with it first hand on a daily basis. Im sick of it!

a legal immigrant is where they apply to live here, for like studying, working etc.
but if they are illegal, then they come here by whatever means and live in england and hide from the police. lol

Yes, legal immigrants are here on work or student visas or are in the process of applying for their green cards and are in the EAB status. They have social security numbers and there whereabouts are known and documented.

Illegal immigrants are people who overstayed their visa or entered illegally, ie crossing the Mexican or Canadian border without being detected.

Illegal immigrants are people that come into the country,like thieves and overstay after their visa expires and don't file paperwork or anything to let the government know they're in the country.my husband is one illegal alien who is overstaying,and now has married a citizen for citizenship,ditching me..he is a illegal immigrant.. theses cant face government..they hide themselves.

I'm not sure what you are asking. I know the difference in the definition of legal and illegal immigrants. Legal immigrants go through the legal process to obtain proper credentials to work and live in the US. Illegal immigrants cross the border without the proper documentation, obtain forged documents, and work and live in the US without the proper documentation.

BUT I can not look at two immigrants on the street and say which is legal and which is illegal.

Therefore, I don't judge the individual person without proper knowledge of their actual status. I do judge the class of illegal immigrants for their illegal act.

legal immigrants are thoroughly screened for loyalty, illness, drug use, criminal history, criminal connections, ability to survive without government assistance, and skills needed in America at any particular time, as well as terrorist beliefs.

illegal immigrants obviously cannot be completely checked, if checked at all. Honestly, is it too much to ask them to do it the right way for the good of everyone?

Don't you know you are being racist by discriminating between the 2? Since we are a nation of immigrants, the law doesn't matter. Only Illegal Aliens... er... I mean undocumented workers will do the jobs that Americans won't do. It's irrelevant that unemployment has gone up, just as long as the Illegals get the first dibs to our jobs that high school and college students will do.

Not to mention that crime goes up everywhere illegals nest, it hurts the hospitals that won't turn away illegals from the ER, and they have the luxury of not paying any income taxes and driving without a license.

Also building a 20 foot fence is a bad idea because illegals have a 21 foot ladder. Then again the white house has fences everywhere... but of course they are not effective, just a waste of tax payer dollars...
