Do we have too many double standards in the UK?

For example, the whole telephone phone in fiasco way back when in 2008. If a member of the public was to do such a thing they would be prosecuted for fraud. Because Ant & Dec+ ITV were involved among other TV stations a fine and apology was enough.

Politions fiddle their expenses.. essentially stealing from the tax payer because they are politions they get away with it.

Politions get allowances for second homes because their jobs take them to parliament daily... do other businesses get such an allowance... are politions incapable of commuting to work like millions of others.

Banks can rob us without consequences, but if we were to rob them it would be a different story.

Anybody else have similar thoughts or examples?

Definitely, and if a black person calls a white person a racist name its ok. But if a white person calls a black person a racist name its a hate crime.

Well my Bank thought they would rob me by charging me over Â£127. for administration charges. Well you should have heard me at the Bank when I went to complain, and in fact I got cheered by the others that were waiting. I got it refunded.. without any effort, so if they charge you like that ... just go along and tell them what you think. I am not a Business person but a sole person on this pathetic Pension I get after working for sixty years.I get so fed up with trying to fight the system who think of nothing but hounding those that are hardly in a position to exist let alone live.

yes,big fish escape from net.poor man always get caught.

if u have Â£10 outstanding to a bank,they will send notices,court order,bailiff etc and spoil ur credit history.
but what r they doing against those who borrowed in millions and defaulted and created credit crunch.
politicians and gov will not do anything about this.

i can write 100 s of example in different scenarios and including big companies.
this great country is going to dogs.really sad.

there are not any double standards you are the slaves and that is the end of it when i was in law the motto was if you have money you were not guilty if you had little or no money then guilty you were ,know your position and grasp the fact that this culture needs slaves who work to support the hickeyinterests like the government religions and bankers
with out your support they fade away
