I am a legal immigrant and I do support them. Because until the supply of jobs dries up for illegals, they will keep coming. They only come here because they can find work. |

Yes I approve. How else are companies going to end their dishonest hiring practices of undocumented workers when there are so many Americans in need of jobs.
ICE must do their job and protect their people from invaders even if it means going after those who encourage the invasion through employment.
Grease Tony - Come to India illegally, with your Mexican friends and demand equal rights with all the Indian people like you do in America. There will be a far different outcome, I promise. Learn respect for USA. They are well within their rights to rid the leeches. |

You G.D. right! Deport the illegal aliens and punish the employers. To keep from breaking up families, maybe the whole family should join those deported! |

NO. I imagine that costs money, which could be better spen in health issues |

Yup I'm with Max Hoopla on this one. Get them outta here and save money by getting 2 birds with 1 stone. |

Sure, why not, get the illegals and their employers with one sweep. |

Sure, when it hits the news it's a good way to advertise the new job openings.
Edit: Greasy, there is absolutely no way your math adds up. 8.1 million illegals would have to earn $222,222.2 apiece to make 1.8 trillion.
In the real world the hiring of illegals at reduced wages creates an unfair advantage, and pushes a lot of honest small business' out of business.
Also if the illegals are such a boon to the economy why is California so deep in the red? There is absolutely no logic to your argument. |

yes, I feel this should be a daily practice of ICE. Hit one workplace daily and watch how we round them up and deport them out quickly. maybe certain ones on here will get caught up in one of those raids, we can only hope. |

Yep! Sure do!
And random road blocks
and having agents at emergency rooms and the local welfare office.
Fine businesses that hire illegals, if they repeat, seize the business and sell off the assets.
I don't understand what people don't understand about the word "Illegal". |

Why have laws if they are not going to be enforced? |

Yes. And deport the workplace management that let them in along with them. If they want to work with them, let them live with them. |

Of course, I do. Criminals are criminals and we need to get them all deported to make our country a better place for its citizens to live in. |

They have no right to be here. Send them back home. If we lived in a sane country that is what would happen. We have a pretend govt, which does not respect laws or borders, just votes and political contributions. we can not survive traitors from within |
|

Micky....the resurrection

Absolutely, they need to do more of them. |

Not a real question. It's the law! The law is not open to that kind of debate, illegal is the operative word! |

i think the illegals here should be made legal and i think they need to secure the boarders better, so more can't come over, but don't break up families |

NO! because it not only affects the Business, it affects us all. The economy feels the blow, the US workers in the company feel the stress/panic.....and most US Citizens that worked for those companies lose their jobs to! More unemployed Americans, More US companies going under and less tax payers and consumers in America.

Study: Illegal worker crackdown would cost employers $1B
WASHINGTON — The government's plan to crack down on illegal workers could cost employers more than $1 billion a year and legal workers billions in lost wages, a study commissioned by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce says.

Illegal immigrants' value to economy? $1.8 trillion
If the 8.1 million undocumented immigrants who cut lawns, bus tables and perform other jobs disappeared overnight, the nation's economy would lose nearly $1.8 trillion in annual spending.
Texas, the second-hardest-hit state after California, would lose 1.2 million undocumented workers and $220.7 billion in expenditures.
These are just some of the findings from a study done by the Perryman Group, a Waco-based economic analysis firm, whose work was commissioned by Americans for Immigration Reform, a group spearheaded by the Greater Houston Partnership.
