I am all for stopping the influx of illegals into USA, however, I find these statistics to be very suspect.
I will paste it on here, but do you know of any VERIFIABLE statistics and/or sites re; neg. effects of illegal immigration? If so, I would really thank you and find it very helpfull. I am more interested in finding VERIFIABLE statistics than anything for this issue in this question.

For the record, i found no legitamate verifiable source for this list. If even HALF this was true it would amaze me that ALL ppl. on both sides of the aisle wouldn't find it necessary to deal with this problem.

It doesn't have a link and if it did, I would be using it like crazy. But some of the information in that is as correct as you can get because the Feds have been going out of their way to avoid publishing any statisitical report on the illegal aliens.

looks pretty bogus to me, if it were that bad we would have closed the borders a long time ago, the thing is people will use this info even when obvious bogus at face value, it is dumb stuff like this that is intended to scare and anger people.

Lets just do this! take every line of statistics there and only take them at 10% face value. Now 95% becomes 9.5%. isn't that enough to say we have a really big problem with illegals in this countries?
Wouldn't 7.1% of all car thefts being done by illegals still be a major portion of car thefts and require something to be done? |

As a part of my job in compiling statistics, I know often compilation of statistics carry the bias of the person compiling them. I do not mean here that all statistics are biased, but you should rely on statistics by independent body without any bias.
These statistics are able to prove any thing, even truth if they so want.
Example- from your text- 50 % Plus of all gang members in Los Angeles are ILLEGAL ALIENS- Seems like somebody has conducted census of all gang members. if so, why were they not apprehended then and there?

I believe that 42% of California students in grades 1-12 fluently speak a 2nd language
because in my school almost half of the students in my IB english class speak spanish, korean, vietnamese, german, or filipino.
And thats just my english class xD
You know what I've always wondered? How is it that people that only know English, can't even get into the higher english classes?
They only had to learn ONE language, yet its the bilingual kids who are beating them at their own language lol xD |
