No. I do not think race should even be discussed because it has as much relevance in judging someone's ability as their eye color.
The best way to have equality is not to have race at all. |

NO, I'm not racist for wanting our immigration laws enforce.
I'm against all illegal aliens equally... i don't care if you from Europe, Africa, Asia or Latin America just come here legally!!!! |

I think people who are well traveled are less racist as opposed to ones who never left their hometown..I learned to not be racist and disproved my initial feelings towards others by traveling and putting myself in unfamiliar situations. Maybe one must experience what its like to be a minority to understand how bad racism can be.....I now enjoy talking and sharing time with all walks of life...even the fella who fell on me and almost spilled coffee on me on the metro rail this morning. Once we found out we were both OK, we struck up a good conversation this morning.
I have a family member who is very racist, and never left the area and never had to interact with people from other places..its troublesome and sad the way some people think. |

No, I choose to like or dislike people on a personal level, not a racial one. |

No, I am Caucasian and I give people the respect they deserve no matter what color of their skin. If you act like white trash I don't like you, same with any other color of skin. If you act decent you will be treated as such. |

Nope, I'm not racist. And I refuse to pander to any special interest group in order to prove it. |

I'm not, I just insist that people pay me for my time if I'm going to solve a problem for them, and this sometimes offends minorities who think I owe them something. |

No. We are all human beings, we all bleed the same blood.
The world has it's share of sub-human degenerates, from all walks of life, but I do not place blame on one race or ethnic group for the action of one group or individual. |

No, I judge people by their character.
the color of one's skin in no way predetermines the content of their character. |

No, I do not consider myself racist. The most obvious reason being that I am married to a mexican...so it would kind of be silly if I were racist. Do I believe that there are racists in every ethnicity, sure do. |

No I do not. I am the adoptive mother of an African American child.
Why on earth would I get a thumbs down for that answer? |

Actually I am going to describe myself as this: I always try to spread my love, smile, knowledge, simpathy and fairness to anybody that gives me the same in return, but I already had more than 100 encounters with white people, I call it like that, because usually happened in the train, at the movies, elevators, etc, they want to be the first ones in everything and the others doesn't count, and also happened with couple of black americans, but majority had been white, so I am already a little bit racist when it comes to people like that, I learn from that the I always going to treat others the way they treat me. |

I prefer my own race, just like I prefer my own family - like any other normal person would.
Does it make me a "racist?" Whatever you say.... I don't care. |

No.
Racism is part of US history and it's entwined in our lives to the point that we aren't even aware of it. I don't consider myself racist--I don't see color, but I can see ignorance.
Through education and finding out the REALSTORY, even though I've had nothing to do with it, I am sometimes ashamed to be white. |

No,
In the case of immigration, the catagory in which you parked your question, I am more concerned about the rule of law and consequences for inappropriate behavior.
My cultural heratige and interactions are so diverse, and I only recognize cultural preferences and distinctions not stereotypes that certainly can't apply to whole cultures, only sub groups which are becoming more and more multi-"racial" if you will. |

Only if you count hating stupid people. Seriously, I don't consider myself racist because I judge people on their actions not race or creed. |

I used to, and I was raised colorblind. But in the last 10 years or so, the people I've been exposed to have made me suspect anyone of a particular race who falls in a particular age group. I wish I could say that it hadn't, but enough experiences of a certain type will make you feel that way, no matter how hard you try to be logical about it. |

I have said in this format a number of times that the word "racist" means nothing more than a club with which democrats use to beat others on the head. I am a fair person who treats everyone just as they treat me. Their race or color makes no difference whatsoever. I would suspect that most people, of all colors, probably do the same. Nothing in my life is about race. If that makes me a racist - I could care less. |

I think everyone is somewhat racially biased. It's embedded in our DNA as a defense mechanism. It's the same drive that makes lions hate hyenas and zebras fear tigers. We are predisposed to hating people/things that look different than us..... |

Everyone is a racist to some small (or large) degree. It's the small time racists who get things done without compromising racial standards. I like to think I'm one of the smallest ones. |

Ok.....

A racist......Racism runs this world right now. The word saturates us, the word haunts us at every turn, alot of horribly
things have been done in it's name. I only hope that the leaders of this world learn that no matter what we have got to live together even if you don't agree...................................... |

If being against illegal immigration and the bold disrespect shown to our country by the people of Mexico makes me a racist, then yes, I guess I am. |
