Yes in my universe and I battle with Jack Sparrow and Captain Hook. Once I have conquered the battle I lay in a hammock drinking a pina colata |

I've visited many of the Caribbean Islands on a couple of cruises I took years ago. I'd probably live on St. Thomas because it's the U.S. Virgin Islands and there's lots to see and do. Who wants to work in paradise? |

Answering this while working in Trinidad. Some caribbean islands are not what they are made out to be. For example Trinidad has just had its 500th murder this year and it only has a population of 1.3million (and going down every day because of the murders). Crime is big, poverty is all around, corruption is rife, the rich are very rich and the poor are very poor, 60% of houses don't have running water and there are stray dogs and heaps of litter every where...welcome to the caribbean. Favourite Island........St Maarten - the dutch side |

I would... but I just know that New Labour politicians would have their forth or fifth home there. Can you imagine moving all that way then finding Alastair Darling and his dodgy eyebrows were just next door. |

I would love to live in Aruba- in a hotel or guarded community.
People on vacation for a week do not see the poverty in the Caribbean.
Crime rates are high as is unemployment. Just look at what happened to Natalie. You just do not hear about most crimes.
As far as working no. Its hard to get papers to work there because of the unemployment rate. And the pay is not great. The economy depends on tourism. If Americans are spending less the Arubans make less and standard of living drops. |

I dream of going to Fiji. Its not necessarily in the Caribbean, but that's where I'd like to be. |

I used to dream of running away to escape, but I'd still be the same person, and things would most likely be the same as they are here. |
