Not at all! I do feel bad for the US taxpayer picking up the tab for the illegal alien invader. If it is soooo BAD, they should leave! In fact, they should just get out NOW!

Mistreated in what way? It seem they broke our laws and then expected to have the same rights as every one else. They've probably stolen someone's social security number, messing up their tax returns, etc.? Is that OK with you?

Explain how they are being mistreated. They're given jobs that should be going to Americans/legal immigrants, welfare, housing, free healthcare, etc., all courtesy of the American taxpayer.

Now, thanks to the SCHIP bill that was just passed, they will all be able to recieve health insurance up until age 30, also courtesy of the American taxpayer. PLUS, they DON'T HAVE TO PAY TAXES.

If they weren't here our economy would be better, because wages would be higher. I don't feel sorry for anybody who illegally and happily undermines the American workers.

half of them are living bette then the tax paying LEGAL americans...they came here illegally...they live here legally(so to speak)

why should they be allowed to complain. it was their choice to come here they are the illegal ones they should know they should have to live and learn the amercian way and be treated as such. if they dont like it go back where they came from.

they should come here and do whatever it takes to become legal. and one of the first things they shoud ALL have to learn is the english language..everyone is conforming to them to be able to communicate to make it easier for them. papers/signs...being put in diff languages..they need to just learn the language to be here.

yes but they allow it to happen by continuing to come here and break the law. they know they will get mistreated. they complain it happens at home and then they come here and it just keeps getting amplified. they are often thier own worse enemies.

They are not chained here, so they can leave at any time.
They were not invited here, so they can leave at any time.
They did not honor our immigration laws, our tax laws, our driving laws,
our stolen ID and social security number laws so they can leave at any time.
If they are mistreated they invited it by entering illegally and then trying to "hide" so they wouldn't be deported. They put themselves in a position to be taken advantage of.
Let them get educated, learn english and come legally and they won't be "mistreated".

I think you mean illegal immigrants. It is their own choice to be 'undocumented'. They could go to an immigration office and they would be glad to start documentation.

No, I don't feel at all bad about how they are treated in the US. They can get jobs, receive government benefits, etc. They are treated for the most part like people here legally, especially compared to places like Mexico (where most of them are from or travel through) where police beat, abuse, rape, and steal from illegal immigrants.

unfortunately people don't understand that most people that come to the US dont come here to steal people's social security number and all that stuff. most of them come over here to give their kids a better life. of course there's always gonna be bad people that come over here for bad reason but that doesn't mean we should hate undocumented immigrants.

The key word is "Undocumented". I absolutely do not feel bad for these people. My wife is from Russia and we went through a lot of crap for her to live and work LEGALLY here.

You know, in the USA is illegal to paint a mailbox, fall asleep in a cheese factory, say "oh, boy", for a widow to jump in parachute on Sunday, fishing whales in Utah ( no shores), wearing socks of different colors, jaywalking, changing lanes without making signals, and a dozen million other things

Hard to answer for the US, as I live in the UK [this is UK yahoo answers!] but I feel sorry for those fleeing their own countries due to persecution, or as economic migrants trying to get a better living for themselves here.

Immigrants, who are here without authority from the Home Office as asylum seekers, are not allowed to work. They are given a bare minimum to live on, which they have to spend as vouchers in specified shops (which may be a long distance away from where they live). They have to report to an office every two weeks. If they do manage to get a job, then they can be forced to work for an absolute pittance, as they are illegal.

Those who come here without papers are often those who cannot afford
to bribe officials into giving them visas / documentation in their own country. The whole system of border control internationally is completely corrupt. If you are rich, you are free to go where you want - the poor, as always, are the hardest hit.

It is not immigrants we should blame for societies' problems but cuts made by the government in social housing and the rich non-domiciles who do not pay any tax to the government. They are the real criminals, not poor immigrants who are only trying to live and send some money back to their families.

Sure I do, they are still humans. Nobody needs to be mistreated. Their definition and my definition of "mistreatment" may be a little different from each other, but abused and tortured is uncalled for. However, not getting your coffee for breakfast while in jail is not mistreatment, as most inmate would claim.
However, if you get sent back I won't feel bad for them, they commit a crime (like anyone else) and they have to do the time. Law breakers are not victims, their victims are.
