yes !!! illegal is illegal............... we have laws and they need to be enforced and respected !!! if we let them stay ,that is just a slap in the face of everyone that had to wait years to get here, they had to spend money they really couldnt afford,but they thought it was all worth it!! they did it the legal way..so why should we allow the illegals to stay just because they think they have that right... they have no rights !!!!!!!! they are illegal ............ enough said?

THE MENU PRICES ARE VERY AFFORDABLE IF THEY HIRE LEGAL PEOPLE THEY WANT TO GET PAID WAY MORE AND THE PRICES ARE GOING TO GO UP. THATS THE IMPACT THAT ILEGALS IMMIGRANTS HAVE ON THIS COUNTRY.

They did this before. Why not get all the male and female illegals and enlist them in the armed forces. After they serve a minimum of 2 years active duty in Iraq, Afganistan or Iran if ever, they come back as citizens. Let them show their commitment by serving their NEW nation. If they decline send them back home and ban them from entering again. At least they have an option and they get paid too. They will work LEGALLY.

There has to be a balance. Yes, illegal immigration needs to be stopped because it makes sense. We cannot have a open door without screening who comes in. HOWEVER, we cannot hate the people who come here illegally, or try to accuse them of being felons. While I agree that many illegal aliens are here to cause trouble, MOST immigrants are here to work, to get a better life, etc. Their countries offer no future for them or their children. While they shouldn't get a free pass to citizenship, we should we find a way to solve the problem so we can all benefit. Remember, they do many jobs that we don't want to do :-) and many of them contribute to society.

Let us think for a second why people immigrate in the first place. They risk their lives, often gather all the money they have and travel to another country. They know that if they get caught, they will lose everything. But they still risk it. You know why? In most cases, they don't have a choice. They can not survive well in their own country or can not support their families. That's why they choose to become illegal immigrants. They work hard at below minimum wages and try to support their families. Let's look at them from a more humanitarian view. Don't hate them. After all, we are all immigrants...either it was us or our ancestors that immigrated here for a better life.

I agree with Alter Tygo. Just let whoever wants to come in, come in. I mean its not like we need to protect ourselves from Terrorist. Its not like it'll hurt us by having unlicensed, uninsured drivers on the road. Its not hurting working people by having them live off our welfare system. Immigration is good for the US. Most immigrants (illegals included) want to work. Working is good for the economy (duh). What we need is a better way to make sure criminals stay out and hard-working people from all nations have an easier time coming here.

If they want a job here, and legal rights. They need to do it like everyone else apply, take the test etc...

By the way. What makes them think they are going to get legal rights if they are illegal ?

It is definitely complicated. We should make it a little easier for immigrants to become citizens and pay taxes. They need to learn English and support America for what it is, not have a "Little Mexico" within our borders. I don't mean to be singling out Hispanics but that is why the issue has been raised recently. By the way I love Hispanics and the Spanish language. I visited Latin countries and loved them too.

If were looking at them being here illegally, then what about the employers who hire them? is that not illegal as well?I say let them stay here, but when they get a job make the employer send them to the SS office so they can get an SS card so they can pay their taxes. As for sending them back, heck this entire country was started by immigrants.

Let's face it, they are a form of breach of national security. When the border is being over run by so many people just coming and going this really isn't much need for Homeland Security. Also as I understand it, that almost half of the population in just LA, are suppose to be Illegal aliens. Just for the record I have known some Mexican Nationals, are most of them where very good people, sometimes better than our own citizens, but if we just let this go on and don't fix the problem. Then there is no need for Homeland Security, let's just tell the world everyone can come here do want they want, when they want, and to whom ever they want. Maybe the United States, and Mexico should just combine together, and help fix that part of the problem. If any representatives of any kind read this remember you work for the people of the United States, and not the rest of the world, and you can be fired!

I have no problem with "legal" immigrants. However, I think illegals should be deported as fast as they can round them up and stop them with non-violent means at the border.

In the meantime, lets get them off ALL the so-called social welfare programs that are supposed to be used for AMERICANS of all origins. They are not "entitled" to free medical care, free education, vouchers for their rent and food programs. I know this is strong but it must be stopped.

This is to kind and smart. Why do they come here kill, rape and have a dozen kids they cannot support. If I went into a store, robbed them I would go to jail BECAUSE it is illegal, they are breaking the law by coming here, I do not care how awful it is down there, they bring their crap here. I live in an agricultural area, when I go into the grocery store, their kids are running around screaming, eating out of the bulk foods....if they would act like human being, respect others, I would not mind. A family member has a landscaping company, his trailer has been stripped of all landscaping tool, machinery by illegals, so what happens his insurance goes up. How do I know they are illegals, neighbors have watched the trailers being stripped, a pack of them rush the trailers while the owners are in the back working, yes we chain the trailers up, they have bolt cutters, neighbors have seen this before, call the cops...they come back and rob neighbors....we don't want them here.
