It is sad that they died. They were looking for a better life as we all are. But this country and most in this world have immigration laws to manage the population in terms of diseases, economy, public services, cultural integration...
Without enforcement, there would be illegal employment, unlicensed drivers, identity fraud/theft, theft of public services... The lack of will of our politicians to enforce the laws of the US has enticed tens of millions of illegal aliens to come to the US expecting their "rights" and an amnesty like the one that was granted during the Reagan era. I wonder if the amnesty worked? |
