In general I believe little from the mainstream media. They put out stories to help circulation, ratings and those who advertise with them.

Depends on what they are saying and which media are you talking about. One side has portrayed them as poor people that the evil white Americans are picking on, the others has them all as violent criminals that are out to ruin our country. I think it is neither, though I think they shouldn't be here illegally. Only people who go through legal channels should be allowed in.

No, there are way more illegals than are being reported. They don't even come close to reporting how much they are actually costing US taxpayers and in most cases they make it seem as though they are not getting taxpayer funded benefits when in reality they are getting MANY benefits (especially when they become pregnant on US soil - begining with the prenatal and actual birth being paid by American taxpayers). At a time when so many Americans are out of work and have no benefits (including insurance) we are funding their children's birth and after it is born, Medicaid until it reaches 19 years--oh yea, and foodstamps and WIC. That's something you don't hear about in the media!
They come in with translators (paid for by taxpayers) and begin applying for benefits they minute they find out they are pregnant.

You do not need to belive the media, You have to belive your own eyes like i do, all you need to do is go and check out the places where all the immigrant live, i mean its just a shame that they can live in such poberty and do nothing for them self, i think is the goverment fault duo to the fact that they want to provide an easy life for them,Like giving them walfare and food stamp that is coming right out of my tax money. For starter:They never say who benefits from imprisoning illegals(privately operated jails where night cost more than motel night)
And also that they are treated like Guantanamo prisoners because many of them are technically not in this country( ones caught while entering for example on the airport) and its cheaper to keep them like that...

Well if I listened to the media, they tell me that there are 12 to 20 million illegals in the country. Listen to an illegal they say there is 30 million or more in the country. I think the illegal has a much better handle on how many is here than the media.

What I do believe is that every illegal should be removed from this country, and sent to their country of origin.
