U.S. citizens pay taxes because we are CITIZENS. Illegal workers ,where ever they are from can not pay taxes BECAUSE they are Illegal. How could they ? If they pay income taxes and file with the IRS there will be no documentation on those people because they aren't from this country. I am not referring to those with work permits.

Yes, illegals pay only certain taxes. Such as sales taxes on items like groceries and gasoline, but as far as income tax and property tax are excluded.

Most so-called "illegals" are hard working people who come here to survive. They have social security taken out of their pay which they will never see. If they don't pay taxes its because their employers are cheating them or paying them under the table.

Thats why I believe if you want to get rid of the root to the immigration issue, one need only to follow the money...the employers. THEY are the problem.

Having been a Government welfare worker, who dealt first hand with aliens and illegals alike, I can verify that Illeglas do not pay taxes, on the whole, other than taxes levied on purchased products.

In fact there is NO WAY to pay taxes as ALL illegals have no (genuine) tax ID.

Illegals who do use Real Social Security numbers (numbers that belong to legal people, alien or citizen), often have moneys taken out of their checks.

THE RIGHTFUL OWNERS ARE THEN THROWN INTO THE MERCILESS JAWS OF THE IRS!
These victims of this (Low level) Identity theft, must then try to prove that they did not live in three separate states and have 14 jobs, prove what income was theirs, and hope their social security account is not messed up for the inevitable retirement or disability!

You are right that those with illegal SSNs pay taxes. But the real owners of the SSN sometimes get into trouble when the IRS comes looking for them for not files taxes on all that earned income.

Also, if the SSN doesn't match the name at the IRS, the company is required to hold that tax money in trust until it can be worked out. So the company is making even more money on illegals that steal a SSN, because they collect interest indefinately on money that they would normally have to pay to the Gov.

Sure at stores they pay and some pay taxes with their fake social security cards. I have seen reports were the IRS has gone after people here legally because someone paid the minimum tax with their pay checks on a made up social security card that actually belong to the person the IRS came after.

But illegal immigration doesn't hurt anyone does it.

Immigration is not the only crime these people commit. What about the identity theft? Forgery? Driving without a license? No insurance? Not to mention paying Taxes on the cash they work for.

i think some do, but i know most do not . hardly worth the millions spent in social services and if the scamesty goes through they plan on giving them tax money back and gas cards to go back and forth from mexico to here, under the guest workers program ,and then they just have to have a kid to stay lol some deal.

All the ones at my husband's company claim 12 exemptions.
They all live alone. No taxes are deducted because of their # of exemptions. He has gotten rid of all illegals but 2. They are great employees & he can not find a reason to fire them (they have legit looking papers, but boast they are illegal to other employees). 2 out of 120 is not bad, at one time there were 28 illegals.

Pancha they do. But they are still costing us more . And they get money back from Federal because most are lower income-usually a thousand or more. What they put in doesn't cover enough period. And many do not use a green card.

Most illegals do NOT pay income taxes,and that is a FACT!! Most of them get paid cash,so there is no taxes taken out! This means they do NOT pay federal or state taxes,social security taxes,fica,etc,etc!! Some of then use stolen and fake i.d.'s to work!! When a legal citizen has his i.d. stolen,it causes him/her, MANY problems!! My friend had that happen to him,and the IRS came after my friend and told him that HE would have to pay the taxes owed by the ILLEGAL!! Is this FAIR to the people whose i.d.'s are STOLEN by illegals?? NO,it is NOT! In fact,it is a FELONY!!! My friend is married,and has two kids to feed and clothe. He has had an AWFUL time getting this mess straightened out! It has ruined his credit!!

I heard on the news a few months back, about one company where about thirty of their illegals ALL used the same social security number,which was a FAKE!! Is stuff like this RIGHT??? Of course not!
So,you see,most illegals do NOT pay taxes,but they take benefits that rightfully belong to legal citizens!!! They drive down wages for legal citizens. They use our system, that they have not paid into!! Is it any wonder that we do NOT want them here??
I have no problems with people who come here legally,so that they too pay taxes, they are checked for communicable diseases,they show RESPECT for our country and it's citizens by obeying our laws!
I know that you and others have called me "racist", but i'm not. I have two sisters-in-law who are mexican,and we are best friends. I have nothing against mexicans,but i DO against anyone who sneaks into our country and starts demanding that we give them something for nothing!!!
