Idylilly - if I legally migrated to Mexico, I would be an immigrant. If they legally migrate here, they are immigrants too. If they come and steal subsidized services like education and healthcare by being illegally in the country, they are thieves and illegal aliens.
If they don't want to be called that, they shouldn't do that. It is the legal term under the laws they broke.

Yes I do!! That is just a nice way to refer to illegal trespassing CRIMINAL. I never refer to them as undocumented workers. That's just something that is p.c. I could care less about that. I prefer the direct approach. Call it what it is. It's an illegal Mexican criminal, most of the time.
Also, we don't need those illegal immigrants. I ate and cleaned my house and did everything fine before they came and ruined this country. We are much better off without them. WE DON'T NEED CRIMINALS. One more time....WE DON'T NEED CRIMINALS. |

I think it is stupid our economy is strong enough to have many jobs for all people. I know a girl who is an illegal girl and she has a few babies and she is the sweetest girl and if she had to go away her kids could stay but no-one could take care of them isnt that stupid?> I understand your point.. I agree to a point but when we all came to this country we raped and stole from the indeans and tehnichally we are all illegals...If you dont like it go to Iraq and find out what it is like to have to live in he** because I would rather live with illegal hispanics than have bombs going off and my family being killed... Yes, they are illegal. They are also necessary. Watch "A Day Without a Mexican". You'll start to understand how necessary hispanic workers are in the U.S. They are illegal, but if the law changes, they won't be illegal anymore! No one gave Europeans permission to come here, so as long as someone want to come here, get a job, earn money, spend money, and be a part of America, let them, provided they do not pose a direct threat to America. To say that illegals pose a threat is a lie. They are necessary for our economy!

I am offended that the illegal aliens should ever have any opportunity to acheive legal status at any level. They are in violation of federal law and have the cojones to flaunt it in the faces of legal immigrants. The only thing that pisses me off even more is the stupidity of politicians who are afraid to take a stand for upholding the law and deporting every single one of them. |

It is a shame they have to come here to try and live. I feel sorry for them but also angry because they are breaking the law. Period. Anyone who has illegals working for them should be jailed. Not fined. Jailed. The cost of social programs used by the illegals should be charged back to their country of origin. Then our boarders could be effectively closed. |

If you were to migrate to say, Mexico (the place where SOME of these "illegals" come from), would you take offense at being called "illegal" or would you prefer to be called an immigrant? There are plenty of Americans living in Mexico. Mexicans are allways called "illegal" and other negative names, but when a person of Asian or European descent moves to the U.S. (legally and illegally) they are not being called anything negative. Have you seen the amount of people NOT Mexican who are naturalized each year?!! Attend a Naturalization ceremony sometime. You will be shocked at the amount of East Asians, Asians, Canadians, and Europeans becoming U.S. Citizens. And by the way, not everyone from south of the border are Mexican. |
