As I know I'm here from other country and I'm legally settledown in this country. Right now I pay my tax on time and in full. My neighbour is an American who earn as much as me but only pay 1% their income, on top of that they have all the benefit from the government such as food stamp, and EBT. so who are really contributing to this country? Honest answer....

legal immigrants help contribute to the economy. united states citizens who was born in the usa spend more money then legal immigrants, legal immigrants spend more money then illegals. that is the order of how the economy is staying afloat. i know i pay taxes out the wazoo. when my fam migrated here n 1620 they was filthy rich. now we are poor. all that money went to this country to help build it up. so i guess that is the price we all have to pay to live in this country. if i do not like it then i know how to leave it. |

If the Government did not give benefits to lazy irresponsible people then we would probably need a lot less but because of PC this won't change.
think most Americans want legal immigrants but when people come here illegally to join gangs, sell drugs or break laws then they are not welcome and people should understand that it is not racist or zenophobia. It doesn't show any respect for our country and our laws.
You mentioned that you pay more taxes than your American neighbor, remember many immigrants come here work off the books not paying taxes and having babies just to scram our systems. I just it balances itself out. |
