WOW! I thought "illegal was illegal"....why only the Mexicans?

The ones that are already here and in good standing?.....YES!

Here's why:

1. They are too interwined in our economy. They are consumers that pump billions by buying houses, cars, food, cloths, electronics, and the list goes on and on and on. Mexican illegals are part of the Hispanic Purchasing power that's expected to reach $1TRILLION by 2011 (CNN).

2. They are tax payers that pay billions every year to! All that helps many things like Social Security, Medicare, local schools and even road maintenance.

Although I am the parent of Mexican Americans who immigrated to this country illegally, I answer questions like yours without that as a bias and as an American.

I believe that they deserve to stay (with the exception of las zetas). Mexicans who come here genuinly come here for a better life, and do not take what America has to offer for granted.

I see more undocumented people from Mexico full of pride in America than I see American born citizens. I see more undocumented Mexicans with more American Pride than actual Americans!

The majority of people not only in my school but everywhere I have been in America complain so much about this country. They are almost always ungreatful for everything Amercia provides for it's people, and most often find enjoyment in putting America down.

Undocumented Mexicans see America as a beautiful place and as a country that is a safe place where they can live their life. Yes they will most often always miss Mexico, (I know i would always miss America if I moved away) but they are almost always wanting to be part of the American culture, and share positive things about their own culture with people who want it.

Many say they steal jobs from us Americans but honestly, nobody wants those jobs! I know I do not and if i did a study to see how many Americans would pick grapes, cherries etc. I know the majority would say NEVER. If they even considered working in the fields...imagine how much they would ask for! Times are hard enough on all of us and it is so difficult just to buy groceries now, imagine if anyone would even buy any food again with produce costing more than three times it already does!

People also say they take away taxpayer's money, but if one could see how generous these people can be to anyone who needs help no one would complain. They do their part for their community. They have an extremely strong sense of family and will include any kind person into their own family, and i know this from experience.

One last note, I am sorry I have written so much (I am new to Yahoo Answers)! I feel as if they also deserve to come as refugees. Although American Journalists have not covered this, Mexico is now becoming controlled by drug lords and las zetas (a gang/guerrilla). It would take forever for me to even describe this to everyone but basically it is becoming like Cuba, El Salvador, Germany during Hitler's time, Vietnam during the Vietnam war and places in Africa. So many of these Mexicans are leaving Mexico because it is not safe anymore. I personally have not gone to Mexico in five years because of it. the drug lords steal children for their army, they rape women to "breed" soilders and mass murder normal people as well as so many celebrities.

The only thing I have seen in English depicting what the Mexican people are going through right now is a show called GangLand who did an episode on Las Zetas. Watch it and you will never go to Mexico again! Ask any Mexican who stays in touch with their families in Mexico or watches the Mexican news stations and they will say Mexico is changing. I personally know almost 7 people who have either been killed or kidnapped by drug lords or people who's family has been murdered.
