Why? because they are big contributors to this country. The pay BILLIONS in taxes every year....YES! BILLIONS. They make BILLIONS in purchases every year to. Illegals are people to who buy houses, cars, food, cloths, electronics and the list goes on and on. They are the reason that a lot of businesses in the US have been so successful. They have found that there is NO correlation with crime and immigration regardless of what people tell you on here. They have found that they pay more into the system then they use in the very few Government Services they are eligible for. We are already seeing the negative effects the new immigration laws to the US; Prices on groceries are on the rise, Companies are losing millions and millions, Farms are moving to Mexico where the workers are, and the home foreclosures are on the rise because of this to. Illegal immigrant home loans have been holding steady up until the new immigration laws took place. We are only crippling our selves.

The illegal Hispanics are also a part of the Hispanic buying power in the US that's expected to reach $1 TRILLION by 2011. If we get rid of more Hispanics, we will not see this huge number.

Well, for those of you that said "illegal immigrants" are only a cancer of this society, lets gets some facts straight. A lot of these workers pay taxes that they don't see back, no matter how many kids they got . A lot of other pure Americans wait for the 3rd of the month to receive their food stamps and buy the Americann beer. Now there is truth that a lot of immigrant workers come here to work and send money home, but isn't that the American way, we make money here and send it to offshore accounts so uncle sam don't get a penny, whoa the American CEO"S way. Be real, how many of the unemployed people will work for minimal wages at 12 hours shift with no overtime? They prefer to stay home collecting governmentnt checks and getting up at 10:00 am to buy their "beer". Now lets give the workers a chance to Pay insurance for cars, most of them don't have it, and when the cops stop them is a 375.00 fine and go home deal with it and see you next payday! What a deal the American way !

Though, illegal aliens may seems unworthy or useless because of their status, but I can assure everyone that they are also part of a good economy. Their impacts may be too much to handle if you deport them.
The system has enough power and resources to deport all illegals, but I'm sure there must be some good reasons why the system have decided to control and manage them instead to deport them all.

I think there will be a lot of horrible jobs that no one wants to do left unfilled. I don't know about you but I don't want to be stooped over picking vegetables with my bare hands in the hot sun for under minimum wage. We might have some issues with our agriculture thats for sure.

Not at all what will happen is that the economy will improve because well fare people will have to get a job. The economy will lose a lot of slack that has been used to keep their lazy butts in reasonable comfort. We lose the slack they lose well fare and start getting hungry enough they will pick up those jobs. I been there when was a kid so I know how to pick fruit and chop cotton and run irrigation lines. It is not hard to learn just hard to do at first. Once you have been doing for a while then it gets easier. Did not want to do it so I got a good education from my service time and worked my way to the American dream, I retired at 51.

Yes. But less so right now because there is 7% unemployment, so we are less in need of the extra labor. But in the longer term, we will need the extra labor because our economy grows faster than the population and the retiring population cannot be supported without new workers paying in to support social security and medicare.

That being said, it is inhumane and impractical, if not impossible to deport millions of people who have put down roots in the USA, so put it out of your mind. The best long-term solution for our labor needs is a guest worker program that can be expanded or tightened as the need for labor arises. The best solution to secure borders is not to build fences, but to offer a pathway to legality for those already present and assuring that employers are sanctioned in the future for employing illegals. The best way to assure it doesn't happen again (as it has once every 20 years) is to give immigration judges the authority to order immediate deportation or grant immediate permanent residence based on the specific merits of each case rather than tying their hands with a 'one size fits all' formula.

Both Presidential candidates are committed to Comprehensive Immigration Reform, as is a majority of the Congress.

No, it would improve. The burden on schools, welfare, health care, etc would immediately be decreased.
Jobs would be filled by Americans, and most areas would see raises increased and improved benefits. That is occurring in plants across the nation where illegal aliens have been removed and deported. This would increase consumer buying power of citizens.
Billions of dollars would remain in the US and not be sent out by illegal aliens.
Banks would no longer be giving high-risk credit cards to illegal aliens, or giving subprime loans to illegal aliens which are frequently defaulted. Some have even advertised no tax returns or immigration papers required to get loans. It's much harder for a citizen to get mortgage approval. This has contributed heavily to the current problem and bailout.

It would be a great boon to the unemployment situation to deport all illegals and terminate the temporary workers. The economy would get a huge boost from the departure/deportation of all immigration-law violators and their dependents since they drain over a trillion dollars per year from the economy and taxpayers' wallets. Departure or deportation of all immigration-law violators is the one single thing which would do the most to boost employment and improve the economy the fastest.

The problems with these ILLEGAL ALIENS is just, well, OVERWHELMING! It's time to get these ILLEGAL ALIENS back to their own country where they belong. It's time for them to pick up their ANCHORS and ship out!

The taxpayers deserve a break from the BILLIONS upon BILLIONS it cost us every year, from the dropping of their ANCHORS to the forged documents and crime.
