i actually know they pay taxes plus the SS taxes which are the ones which some anti-immigrants take into account are in not way compared to the sale taxes they pay .

No, I don't think they pay taxes.

Ultimately, because they skip out on taxes, illegal immigrants are actually rewarded for the lower wages they can automatically accept. In essence, they have a much higher effective purchasing power from each dollar--which they, as illegal immigrants uniquely enjoy--and therefore have lots of available employment. This is discriminatory against the least fortunate of U.S. citizens in a perverse, backwards sort of way.

Based on Census Bureau data,when all taxes paid (direct and indirect) and all costs are considered, illegal households created a net fiscal deficit at the federal level of more than $10 billion in 2002. According to the Social Security Administration they have a"Earning Suspense file". This file has been mushrooming ever since:$345 billion worth of wages ended up in this file.

There are 1 million Americans living in Mexico. Remittances from the United States to Mexico have risen dramatically from $9 billion to $14 billion in just two years. Though initially interpreted as representing a huge spike in undocumented workers (who send parts of their salaries across the border to family).

Yes, illegal immigrants pay taxes and do not get it back. They cannot apply for tax return because the minute they apply, they are more likely to be found by ICE and deported. Of course there are some who do NOT pay taxes because they work under the table but it's a very small number (not many businesses are willing to just give money away and not get a tax credit from Uncle Sam).
An ITIN can be obtained from the IRS by non resident aliens, meaning living in the US but not necesarelly illegal. These may be people who are visiting legally but are not elligible to work.
Also keep in mind, they pay taxes and can NEVER apply for social services unless is a life threatening situation. Even then the government may not have mercy.

I know for a fact that most do pay taxes. I don't know the number of illegals who file 1040s of course (no one really does) but I am sure it is a majority.

To file a Form 1040 you need a Social Security Number or an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) by applying to the IRS and filling out a Form W-7.

ITINs are issued to any foreign national who needs it for tax purposes and does not qualify for a SSN. Legal US residency is not a factor.
