Do you think illegal aliens who have U.S. born children should be allowed to stay in this country?

MIAMI -- The lawyers for over 600 American born children filed a lawsuit against President Obama to suspend the deportation of their undocumented parents until there is immigration law reform.
Nora Sandigo, of Nicaraguan origin, is CEO of American Fraternity, a pro immigrant organization based in Miami, filed the lawsuit before the U.S. Supreme Court.
"Children continue to suffer by being separated from their parents because of deportations that the President may be able to suspend." Sandigo asserted. She also explained that filing this law suit is not because she or these children are against him, but to use his authority and urge him to issue an executive order to stop the deportations, and adopt new immigration laws.

Oh lord... if those people want to stay here so badly then become LEGAL citizens.... :/ Seriously.... This is ridiculous... if you don't want to become LEGAL citizens then pack your bags and your anchor baby and go somewhere else... Having a child here should not be a loophole into staying here illegally... |

No, the children should direct their anger the parents for putting them in this situation. And, our government must take the blame too. We need to stop giving birth right citizenship. Californians voted a few years back to deny services to illegals and their children, such as school. Well, this was ignored by the legislators. Kids of illegals went to school for years. It was like the parents saying "if enough of us break the American laws, then they have to change to accept us." |

Separated from their parents? Are the parents and lawyers so stupid that they can not figure out that the children are free to go with them? |

No - no one is forcing the parents to leave their children here.
Guess they believed BO's campaign lies. |
|

Ya heard me
 |
No! Just because they snuck over here illegally and then started popping out anchor babies should not give them the right to stay. Any type of rewarding criminals is not the way to go. |

NO, they can take the kids with them |

No! There is a RIGHT way and a WRONG way to enter a country. These parents are KNOWINGLY doing it the wrong way and they want to use some loop hole thinking they will be allowed to stay in the US knowing very well that they will never try tp become US Citizens, adapt to the American way of life or even bother learning English!
Millions of immigrants came to the US legally!! Was it easy for them? No, but they still found a way to do it --- end of discussion!!!!!!!!! |

Nope, anchor babies should not give them any special rights. |

I don't think the children or the illegal should be allowed to stay. And they should not be allowed to sue anybody in our courts because they are not citizens of this country.Even if the suit is filed by someone else who is a citizen it should be thrown out. |

No. The child is not really a citizen.
The 14th is misinterpreted.

No, because their entire existence in the USA is illegal. More ways should be found to get rid of them not less. |

No and the reason is that these same parents can take their children with them and when the child is 18 then he/she can come back own their own.Its not our fault that the parents are law breakers and now has put their children in this position the parent knew exactly what they where doing by have kids here.So they should all go back. Why should we keep feeding the whole frigging family because Jose and Maria couldn't keep their pants up...... |

So if I rob a bank, I go to jail but my children and family get to keep the proceeds from the robbery, and by the way I used a water pistol to hold up the bank. The law is the law, my decisions affect the lives of many people. |

this is interesting. a lot of yall are furious. i will be too bec they use my taxes that i profusely worked on. but then again let's think outside the box here. are yall sure that your ancestors are real americans? its not about your color or your race. whether your black, white, tall or short. we are all part of mixed cultures, just a thought for all you haters out there. just reading all the messages in here are just demining. some of you are right, take the babies home. let them embrace their own culture, they might be better there and not end up selling drugs or commiting crimes. but lets all be adult, its still life where talking about here. gosh people. yall need to grow up. seriously. |

Of course. In whose mind is it logical to deport a child's parents? |
|

Anyone born in the U.S. is a U.S. citizen. If you deport the parents of a dependent child, how is that not deporting a U.S. citizen? I suspect this kind of question and response is an attempt at relieving guilt for arbitrary hostility toward others based on convenient technicalities. |

If that was the law/rule from day 1 of the founding of the USA, we would live in an empty country.
Not sure about you, but my ancestors were all illegal immigrants from Europe. |

YES!!! and this is why...i have a friend who was brought here as a child by his parents illegally...as a child you do not have a choice of staying in your country, you obviously have to go along with your parents..he went to school here, graduated, went to college and now has a family of his own...now why should the u.s. deport him...when he had no choice of coming here...do you think it is right for him to be separated from his family??? when he was brought up as an american...the only thing against him is being born in another country and the CHOICE HIS PARENTS MADE... |

YES! because that's more children torn apart from their parents. These children were once supported by their parents, and now the tax payers are going to do it when they go into the support groups that help them. It causes these poor children to fail in school and some times in life. We would be added more negativity to our society.

Immigration Raids Leave American Children Behind
Study says the damage to kids is mental, emotional and economic
Children face short- and long-term psychological damage when they are separated from one or both parents. This can include depression, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, feelings of abandonment, and suicidal thoughts. Raids also have an economic effect on families and make it harder for children to concentrate in school.
Support networks such as families, churches, schools and non-governmental organizations have also been affected by the raids, which have increased in the absence of comprehensive immigration reform. |

I have a daughter now 5, the father is an undocumented worker from Mexico who has been here for over 10 years. He could have been sponsored by his sister years ago but he denied the chance. Now the law for undocumented workers is ridiculous. Grant the ones who are responsible with no criminal record to get the proper paperwork required to stay so it will boost our economy! |
