Why should the children have to suffer for somthing their parents did? |

Public education is supported by US taxpayer dollars for the benefit of US children and others in the country LEGALLY.....Send illegals back home, and their children should go with them. |

I think they should be given the opportunity to go to school, based on ONE contingency:
the entire family applies for citizenship LEGALLY and then the child can enter the school system. |

They are illegal! It is not my duty to see that my tax money is used to educate an illegal. Especially since our own children need our tax dollars for their education. We really don't want illegals to assimilate, do we? |

Yes they should be denied and sent back to where ever they came from. Do you know how much taxpayer money it takes to educate 1 child per year? At least $5,000 and up. Now when illegal kids are in class and need special and extra help that takes away from a legal child getting the proper education and puts a burden on the entire school system. |

In their own country they should never be denied. In this country they are not entitled to an education, especially since they are illegal. Illegals don't need to "try to assimilate" nor is it our responsibility to educate them. They need to go home. Illegals need to be deported from here, not educated here, Dog Tricks. |

If we denied them social services that benefit citizens, and deported their parents, of course they would have to follow, and if they were in Mexico they could spanish all day long and not be criticized for it- crime doesnt pay- if the parents came illegally, the blame is on them for what their children go thru, they knew they were taking a chance, dont let them manipulate you into thinking its your fault for the consequences of their crimes! |

Yes, they should not be allowed to attend along with the legal citizens. Let them watch television and learn English first, or something. Or learn it in their own country. They are such a strain on the real estate taxes in my area it is unbelieveable... |

According to federal law it is a felony. See the link.
It only took ONE Federal Judge to change the law on his own. |

Their government should NOT deny their children an education. THEIR government.
We should NOT, however, be held in any way, responsible for the 3 billion children of the third world unless and until, we, as individuals, decide we can afford to help.
If they can't get a job, an education, any medical treatment, etc, in their OWN countries,

There parents should pay for it out of the billions they send back to Mexico every year.
And what they are taught is American not where they came from. |

I would hate to see innocent children suffering. They should be able to attend school, once their parents are legal, paying taxes (which supports our schools) and until that all happens, they have to pay for their children to attend, and not through welfare.
This would push those illegal to get jobs, and do what the rest of us who are true Americans. |

deport them immediately and that would solve both problems. |

i dont understand, they are illegal, how do they even get into school without getting deported?
there is a boy in my school who is illegal, and im not stereotyping, but he sells drugs to kids and he doesnt do his work and hes basically failing, so why is he even in school? |

Yes they should, we pay for it and it's meant for people here legally. |

I could only make an educated decision if there were numbers that show how much property/income taxes are paid by them and federal law doesn't allow immigration status to be a factor in paying taxes so I have no real answer...
I think in 2007 everyone should have an education but the expenses are still there...
I dont see people trying to go after the kids of American welfare recipiants |

Absolutely! They're not paying for it! Although I think everyone should be denied Public Education because of how worthless it is. |

No, I do not feel they should be denied a Public Education, but I don't believe the school district should hire interpreters for them at the cost of the taxpayers. Let a non-charitable organization teach them to speak English. |

They shouldn't be denied.
Not their fault. And it's not like denying them will make the parents leave.
We'd just be making an uneducated, pi--ed off underclass that's ready to fight. |
