THEY SHOULD , WHAT OTHER COUNTRY WOULD PRINT LEAFLETS ETC IN DOZENS OF LANGUAGES AND IF YOU WENT ABROAD YOU WOULD HABE TO LEARN THE LANGUAGE

My dad said he would always be grateful to the black man - reason being that when he came over from Ireland and was looking for digs he would see signs in the windows of digs saying "No Blacks, No Gypsies, No Dogs" this was at the time when the immigrant "problem" of the day was coming from the West Indies.
Some of the signs still reflected the times before the West Indians started to arrive in greater numbers. Those signs said "NO IRISH, no blacks, no gypsies, no dogs"
The point i am making is that if these people win and manage to remove the Blacks, the Asians, the Gypsies etc
WHO DO YOU THINK WILL BE NEXT?? -(clue _ _ _ it wont be the dogs)

In answer to the original question - As it happens i feel it is important that newcomers should be assisted to learn the language. If they learn the language it will help them to integrate.
By the way "England till i die" you do know that your ancestors were black don't you???

Yes. Absolutely. And I think they would be happier if they did. I went to live in South America and took it for granted I should try to learn Spanish. (Well, I tried!)

I think they should have to learn the language and if they do not learn It then Citizenship shoul denied.

We spend too much money translating information for them to see the Doctor or claim benefits. Free classes, in English, you dont get that in other countries, we give them too many handouts and assistance.

If they have not learned how to speak it within 3 years, then send them back we need skilled applicants not cant be bothered to make an effort applicants.

Learn it or leave.

i think that we should help them to integrate by printing every thing in English only. if they want to seriously settle here then they simply must learn the language. we are using up half the rain Forrest on extra paper work because the government doesn't have the balls to say, you don't come in unless you can speak the language. they have to learn it eventually. best before they come here. its about time the PC and human rights fools were made to shut up. there is no long term thought behind they're stupid ideals. and they are proving destructive' to say the least'. i have no problem with people wanting to settle here. as long as they integrate. as long as they are not violent hate fuelled morons who are better suited to caves.

They should learn the language before they come here. Why should we foot the bill for interpreters? Were I to go to another country seeking residence yet not knowing the language, would I get the same treatment? Hell no ! Until quite recently I worked in the NHS, a lot of elderly patients would come in with their "carers" more often than not these carers could speak very little English, how the hell did they get the job, more importantly how effective were they when they could not even communicate with the people they were looking after? The mind truly boggles, only in Britain !!!

Yes they should, they should also find their own jobs, pay taxes, be entitled to the same benefits we are. They shouldn't be given jobs over UK citizens, recieve more benefits than us and not have to pay typical taxes just for being of a different race. Funny how that isn't counted as racism.

people who decide to live in this country should be able to speak the naviety language. But I also think that British people, that immigate to other countries should do the same.
