Illegal immigrants come here abuse our welfare, get so much medical care they cause hospitals to close, get food stamps and other federally funded assistance, bring in all types of filthy, dangerous diseases and then WE should feel sorry for THEM?!! I DON'T THINK SO!!! They should stay in their own country or come here LEGALLY!!

Innocent children should be the ONLY illegal immigrants to get medical care, none of this was their fault.

because you have to get a sponsor and sign papers saying that you will not apply for benifits!

the only way they can hurt hospitals is because hospitals cant turn them away they have to help them with or with a social security number, this is something that needs to be worked on! if you are so worried about out hospitals

Many Americans get federally funded assistance, that is why we pay taxes, so the AMERICANS will have that assistance if and when needed. (Bankruptcy is not the issue, that is irrelevant.) When millions of illegal immigrants cross our borders and require medical attention, it is not denied to them because of EMTALA. Those hospitals must bear the financial burden of those people's medical care. Many hospitals (100's, in fact) have closed their doors in CALIFORNIA ALONE!! Those people are here ILLEGALLY, they should NOT BE HERE!!

Ruby: how many Americans file bankruptcy each year? I work in a hospital honey I am an RN, guess what it is all races who come through the hospital without insurance, guess how many people actually pay those hospital bills. Hospitals were being shut down due to lack of payment long before the immigration problem arouse.
