Sure, that would be a great idea as long as the check out clerk was an ICE agent. Having several lines for Mexicans will make the processing much easier and will not impede the normal people from being held up by them.

We have all but officially made Spanish our official language. If we wait a few more years we can have English speaking US citizens flee to Mexico as they have all come here

Your hysterical. That is just one more example of how the illegals can raise expenses here. First we have to put multiple language directions on instructions for everything, now you want to help them shop easier with their illegaly earned money.

Any other ideas for how we can ensure there is no need for illegals or even legals to assimilate and become part of this country.
I am sure the legal Somalies who came to the town next to ours would love to have everything in their language. Too bad they need to assimilate and learn English like all immigrants should.

for what? if spanish want to come here they need to learn to speak english. not we speak spanish. if we keep complimenting these spanish people, where will the incentive to LEARN english come from? they would never want to learn.

Americans are scrutinised for not speaking the language in France but that is ok and illegals should be given special treatment right? What a crock.

Businesses should not be required to do that, but economically speaking they'd probably benefit, at least in certain states, by offering bilingual services. As for the government, I can't justify the expense. Taxpayers shouldn't have to subsidize the inability of some people to learn English. Nobody should have to learn English in the United States. However, I don't think we should have to go out of our way to accommodate that. If you don't speak English, that's fine, but I hope living in the US for a number of years without accommodation will help you realize that learning the dominant language is an invaluable skill.

*Edit: I basically said the same thing as the person below me, but I got five thumbs down. Why? Is it because I said people shouldn't have to learn English? Sheesh, I was on your side for once, you xenophobic reactionaries.
