I expect Illegals to go home and go to college there. Let their government pay their bills. My government won't pay mine and shouldn't pay theirs!

This is a complex issue. There are children that were brought here as infants or very young children, speak the language, get great grades, and, have the potential to be great contributing members of society. I think if they are smart enough to get into college, they should be allowed to go.

I don't think they should get financial aid. They are here illegally, whether it was by their own fault or not. Financial aid is paid for partially through taxes, and, as such, I don't think they should be entitled to it.

What would be the point of going to college if you're illegal? Pay for an education here, save money and go back home to practice your degree? but why should we pay for that? If they are here illegaly, the concept of them even stepping into a school is unacceptable.

Hmm.. "Illegal immigrants" The term alone answers the question. They are illegally in this country. Therefore are not allowed to participate in any social, corporate or charitable establishment. my answer is: Not until they have gained legal right to live and work in the country and are paying taxes to the government.

If they want to go to school here let them however the money should come from their own pockets legal or not. The only time they should get money from our government is when they have become an official American citizen. I think it is wrong of any government to give students money who are not even an citizen of their country. There are plenty of Americans who need the Government Grants to attend College. Many are denied grants because the non-citizens are given them first. I know because that is why i could not have one. They told me I would never qualify because I was a citizen, i was not a minority, and i was not a single parent.

I think illegals should be denied all healthcare, social welfare, benefits and education. Thats the only way you will get rid of them.

They keep coming precisely because you DO give them free handouts, education and healthcare.

Oh and you should also STOP putting up spanish signs. MAKE them learn english if they want to be here, they must assimilate by learning the native language.

What's the point of having any laws when certain laws help a certain segment of people advance while the remaining people are forced to deal with the harsh reality nothing is free so why should illegals be affronted free college education? Illegal aliens can not go to college here. In order to attend college you must have a student visa and they pay their own way. Illegal aliens do not have SS #'s in order to apply for grants.

No the government should not pay for their education or medical expenses for that matter. If the illegal immigrants makes billions in the US every year as the research has shown that they send back home, then let them open associations and use that money to pay for their own. While the government pays for their needs although they are illegals our own needs as citizens of this nations gets put on the back burner. IE: California needs freeway redone, social security needs overhaul, school districts need funding etc.

No, of course not. Only left wingers and La Razans are for that nonsense! However, if they are paying there own way to a non-state supported school, I really can't get that angry about it. What burns me up is when they go to schools that are funded mostly by the states. that funding should go to American citizens only.

What a crazy country we live in when something as common sensical, as giving social benefits only to American citizens and legal residents is seen as controversial.

Nope. That's what student Visas are for. If they can't get one, then oh well. There is no inherent right for foreigners to go to school in the US.

I don't think illegal immigrants should be here. They are illegal. I have nothing against immigrants. My wife immigrated to here from Portugal when she was eight. Though I was born here, most of my ancestors were immigrants (part Cherokee). But illegal immigrant should not have any benefits of taxpayers money until they make themselves legal. People caught in this country illegally shouldn't really even be allowed to stay.

No,they should be deported. Then if they can get a student Visa,and either pay for their schooling themselves or get someone other than US taxpayers to pay for it then I suppose they can attend. At no time however should US taxpayers pay one dime of their tuition,which includes not giving them in state tuition.

I think Its completely wrong all of this illegal immigrant stuff needs to come to a stop. It is not right for them to come in here illegally and be able to get every thing for free its like were rewarding them for doing something illegal. So no I don't think they should get free education they should make there selves legal and pay like the rest of us.
