He is the fifth richest man in the whole world, a few billion is a drop in the bucket to him.
Mexico Slim is a mexican citizen and he lives in Mexico City, Mexico, he is a close personal friend of your ex-president Fox and your new presidente Calderone.
Why don't you and all the rest of the kids in Mexico write letters to Calderone and to Mexico Slim and ask him to pay for your education?
Stop asking the USA to support you and your country, it isn't our responsiblity.
There are plenty of rich Mexicans in Mexico, it's time for you people to start taking care of your own problems.

Why shouldn't Mexico, which includes the 3rd richest man in the world and a huge amount of oil, pay for education itself? We pay for ours and illegal immigrants are ruining it. We need the funds here. Mexico should take care of itself. |

Why the hell should we give Mexico money for their education? Our public schools here in the US are so under funded it's not even funny. The day all of the United States problems are taken care of is the day we invest in Mexico's public education. The US has sent enough jobs down there I think they can find a way of solving their money problems. |

No, No matter how much we educate them they will still come. They need to grow some balls and stand up against their Government and fight for what they need and want.
We aren't against immigration. We are against illegal immigration. Our school are staggering under the weight of English learners. If I had a child in the Los Angeles School district, I would move or I would be sending my child to a school where he as an American citizen could receive an education.
I do not have a problem with Mexicans or people from Central America. I have a problem with the way the majority of them are coming here. It is complete chaos!! There are too many coming all at once and we can not continue to support them. Come legally and come assimilate and bring the good things about your culture. We are America and yes we welcome legal immigrants with open arms. |

I would rather see us do anything but build a wall. I would rather more pressure was put on employers to do checks and for identity theft to be cracked down on. But, I will accept illegals and immigrants since they are people. Because, if I were in there shoes I'd be coming here too. I figure if it gets really bad I'll move to Canada or Australia and overrun their country. Or just learn Spanish and say what the h*ll. The older I get the more I know there are just some things you can't control.
As you can probably tell I've surrendered to this idea. Because I think it's officially TOO LATE, at least for the Southwest. |

Maybe the US should invest a billion dollars to improve Public Education in Mexico. They should also use the money to establish jobs for Mexicans in Mexican. The US should give the money on the condition the Mexican government would enforce their citizens to learn then stay in Mexico and improve Mexico. Mexicans know the law well enough about crossing the border is illegal.When they are deported they try again. The Us should give a billion on the conditon that Mexico would start new business and make it illegal to try to leave Mexico without a good reason or without Immigration permission. |

No, we need to get rid of the treaties that limit other countries growth and make it so we can have real competition on a global scale without US threats of military actions. Then we will see exactly how lacking in education America is and begin to invest in our own education. Otherwise, China and India will continue to kick our economic *** and all we will be left with is our military to help us.
