Yes because our entire way of life is being dominated and our economies are diminishing, language is being threatened and our cultures will become extinct.
Unfortunately, the people in charge of running our governments are the rich elite who do not associate with the shrinking middle class and might prefer 2 classes Rich & Poor like the 3rd world countries coming in and taking over have.
There should be a strict LIMIT to the number from each country in at one time, thus eliminating a few countries from taking over completely. Make the limit Fair for ALL to quell the dissention. |

Immigration laws need to be enforced.No drivers lisences no free heath care no free higher education.I am all for legal immigration and thet need to learn our language not the other way around.My great grandparents were immagrants and they learned english and how live in the american culture,they weren't looking for free hand outs and welfare like most do now.

I live in a City with 30.000 Students from all over the World
We have a Chinese community that is the oldest in Western Europe
A well established Black community
80% of us have Irish decendants
10% Welsh
If I rode a certain Bus Route for a week Very likely I would see People from every Country in Africa
We have a small but hard working Asian Community
My apologies to anyone I have missed out
The problem is not with these Dear People Oh no On the whole they are a joy to meet
The problem I have is with You Reptilians

unfortunatly neither will be free of this problem untill they start inforcing their immagration laws.remember the last time we gave AMNESTY?the government said they wrote the EXISTING laws to prevent another AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS bill.now look. here we are again with another AMNESTY AGENDA.ENFORCE THE EXISTING LAWS.i read a study that found it would cost about 8 MILLION more U.S. DOLLARS to giveAMNESTY than mass DEPORTATION. |

I don't believe the US or the UK should stop. Good people are entering into these countries, some need help. A few are messing it up for a lot of good people. Yet, we do have laws that need to be enforce. And at the sametime we really need to speed up the process for those trying to enter these countries the correct way. |

My Mom and my brother are both British subjects. They came here legally. If they can come all the way from England legally then why can't other people. My Daddy was a career soldier in the US Army. After his retirement, my Mom was told to become a citizen or else she would lose all her military priveledges. Does that sound right to you. Come here illegally and you can own the country. BTW, I was recently told by Social Security that ss is only for illegals. Does that sound right to you? |

I think you have a problem. It's called paranoia. When you say American, I assume you mean the USA and are not speaking for the whole American Continent.
The USA was paranoid about Communism, in spite of having apparently rescued Europe single handed from the claws of fascism.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, their paranoia had to be focussed elsewhere. So why not Islam?

No. But it should be controlled. Not just leaving an open door , as it appears at the moment. A certain amount are a great benefit to the countries, but flooding the country causes problems such as overcrowding, lowering living standards etc. |

I was born and raised in a small town in Ohio. My husband and I moved to South Florida last year, and I can tell you that after being here for two years, I think we do need to stop the immigrants from coming here and taking tax payer dollars because they think we owe them something. It's time to take America back. Stop all immigration!! We have our own problems, we don't need theirs,too.I beleive we would have alot less crime. |

Close the borders - no one allowed in or out. Grow own food, manufacture all own goods. No hotels, no tourism (sometimes those tourists just stay a lot longer). Put a big razor wire fence around the countries. Build a big fire and burn all the current laws and treaties. All those people put out of work don't worry - put them to the land. Send all the immigrants back to their own countries....oh dear Ireland has sunk under the weight, now the rest of Europe is going under but the bison are doing well in the mid states. New industry is set up in Italy, Germany, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Poland and many more countries teaching all those returnees how to speak 'their' language. DNA testing has a 10 year backlog for the countries disputing responsibility for those poor offspring of intermarriage. African countries building their own fences to keep out the professionals - too many doctors and lawyers being sent back.

you can't really compare the two, England has always been inhabited by Europeans, the English have a Celtic and Teutonic heritage. The USA was founded by immigrants and is governed by their decendents. They have no arguement for immigration control. |

No. Both countries need 'economic immigrants'. That is skilled immigration. Great for the economy.
Culture and integration is an issue too. Best immigrants are from countries with similar cultures. |

Unless an American is descended from Native Americans his or her ancestors were immigrants. |
